Fabulous meal at this lovely, country pub. Really generous portions and beautifully cooked food, great choice too. In our party we had the haddock ( brought fish & chips to another level!) Pie of the day ( chicken, ham & leek on our day, delicious!) Burgers chosen by the children (" the best burger
A very good local pub with a lovely atmosphere and good food. We came across it by accident and were glad that we did. Food was lovely. Caprese salad was really nicely dressed with lots of heritage tomatoes. Pork chop from the grill was big and juicy with a cooked apple and grilled broccoli. Dessert
Really lovely pub with a warm welcome for us and our dogs. Four of us had lunch here on Saturday and everyone's food was excellent, with a good selection of gluten free options. My friend was delighted that there was a GF burger bun! Highly recommended.
As it say's on the sign outside ' A proper village pub ' and it certainly was just that . A quaint pub in a quiet area , with drinks and good food served at reasonable prices . Nice clean spacious inside which had a lovely charm about it . Outside seating at the front of the property . Staff really
Our great, sort of local pub, from Wittersham, 6 adults 3 toddlers 2mnth baby and 2 dogs, all looked after and fed with lovely food and wine. Great staff. We all had the roast.
Lovely friendly village pub. We were there on a Sunday and eat delicious food from Kashmir Kitchen food truck which was on the pub site. The venison curry, and chips with masala sauce was delicious! Inside the pub a local folk duo were playing.
Lovely pub, great service and smashing food. Really enjoyed our evening meal.
Lovely village pub. Welcoming staff, great beer selection and the squid on the bar snacks menu was top quality. Would recommend a visit if you're in the area.
Visited for the first time since reopening with new owners recently. Superb food and really welcoming. Dogs friendly. Can highly recommend the roast, very nice. I shall be back to sample the rest of the menu with a bottle of Chapel Down 😊
Small but excellent menu , with some specials. We are already booked for a return visit. Many thanks .
Lovely pub lunch with very good food. We all had a light bite and a lovely pudding, will go back again thoroughly enjoyable lunch was had by all. Visited again food very good as ever
Great village pub with great staff. If you want to eat I recommend booking in advance.
Pleasant old village pub with decent and reasonably priced food and good service, where we had a pleasant evening out.
Cute pub tucked away in a quiet picture postcard village but only about a mile off the A28 Hastings to Ashford road just before Tenterden. Friendly staff, crowded village atmosphere with good food.
Absolutely fantastic carvery! Didn't need starters or desserts but we got both anyways and no regrets! 100% will visit again.
Great pub, nicely off the beaten path. Good selection of real ales (Long Man, Harvey's & Ringwood). Go for the beer....stay for the (excellent)food!!
Lovely little pub in the sticks. Delicious food and lovely atmosphere 😋
Lovely location for quiet drink or inexpensive lunch. Very friendly staff with good covid safety processes.
