I had to kill some time waiting for my car. I was hungry and wanted something filling but not too heavy. Chose this cafe, I was impressed with the menu selections. They have the early bird full English breakfast options, I went with the cheese omelette which you can choose to have with a jacket potatoe, chips or salad. I chose the salad and pineapple suprise smoothie. I was very impressed with the food and the service was great as well. Really enjoyed this and will come back again.
Always the best service here. Has a real family atmosphere amongst the staff and customers. Definitely a good place to eat

I travel all over the country in my job and love to try the local Café’s; This cafe is right up their for me as you get a good portion and it’s great quality! The staff were quick to help and take my order! And you could see your food being cooked whilst you waited and how clean the kitchen area was! The menus on the tidy tables were clearly priced with a nice colourful menus with pictures of the food that they serve!
I just wish I was working here longer!

This place is great with fantastic service. Poppins are very competitively priced for what they serve. If you're looking for a little cafe serving breakfasts, lunch, and deserts, try this little cafe, you won't be disappointed.
I had the late breakfast, which wasn't very nice, sausage was soggy, bacon was very fatty, left most of it. Ordered a cappuccino which is the worst I've ever had. Not sure if the machine needed cleaning or they were just mean with the coffee beans but it was like dishwater. Won't be repeating that anytime soon
Great staff, friendly and helpful. Life saving bacon sandwich and cup of tea. Just as it should be and proper ketchup. No wonder the place is busy.
Nice place, been here a few times reasonably priced and food is good, waiting staff are friendly and helpful. Seems clean, as it's in Romford shopping centre it doesn't have its own car park. I give four stars as there was some drilling and banging from building work going on.
The full English breakfast and breakfast sandwich is so delicious. The cappuccino I drank here was the best I’ve ever had, it was so good! Wholeheartedly recommend and the service is really quick and welcoming!!
Lovely Cafe, staff are always friendly and food and service is always great. My favourite cafe!
