Moon House

I originally posted a review two years ago and have amended it today. I tried loads of takeaways when I first moved to Hornchurch and this one came out top. Good old traditional Chinese takeaway with fab food. Updated 17/01/20 Still amazing almost three years from my first order. I love the freshness of the food, amazing customer service (they are so lovely and friendly) and the speed of delivery. They also use fantastic delivery staff, they are so friendly and lovely. Had to top up my original review from two years ago, as I'm still so impressed!

New years Eve night, I had a house party and we decided to order Chinese. So I rung the Moon House in Victoria Road, and what a great choice this was. A polite helpful chap was very informative about my meal choices, It was a rather large order, but I need not have worried. The food was delivered on time as promised and lovely and hot. And was eagerly awaited by my hungry guests. And it was absolutely delicious. By far the very best chinese food around. A very small amount left (rice), everyone was full and satisfied. I know that the Moon House will be having more people ordering food from there, so I thank you Moon House for the delicious food which helped make our New Years eve night extra special. I have never been a lover of Chinese take away food, however, very late on Saturday night, I found myself ar the Moon House ordering food. I found the staff that were taking my order to be very friendly and helpul and the food was much better lthan I had anticipated. I had liked it very much and now look forward to going back and trying new dishes. I had hoped for more quantity of meats and prawns in the Special Fried Rice, maybe next time. I loved the Peking Spare Ribs and the curry sauce!! A few other dishes that were great too. Thank you
