Lovely friendly staff, lovely tasty food, meat really tender. We didn't wait quite some time for the food to come but was worth the wait it once we got it. Definitely will return and also get takeway

Just had the Banqueting night menu 6 items for Β£14. The mix grill starters was amazing. The staff are so polite and helpful. Definitely recommend it to friends and will be coming back again soon
So first time going to an Indian restaurant........ was bloody amazing. The food was amazing. I had a mixed grill for starters which was amazing (picture attached) I had a chicken tikka bhuna which was amazing I loved the flavour in that would defo recommend it. Servers was lovely. The manager was such a great person. They are under new management and I have to say they have done an amazing job would defo send all my friends there. They will definitely see me again. We decided to try again, under new management and as the light of India.
It has a lovely feeling , and all the staff very warm and welcoming.
The food was lovely, really hot and tasty.
Absolutely no complaints. Price was reasonable as well.
We met the wonderful Ronni, who was very entertaining.
We will definitely go back and will spread the word about trying the restaurant.

Best Indian restaurant in Romford. Light of India was initially recommended by my good friend and received a service more than what we expected. Chef got magic in his hands. Very personalised and intimate service by staffs. Went in with my grandson and he loved it too. Must try Light of India Special Chicken and Sizzling King prawnπ. Loved it and going back again ..

Change of ownership, this place used to be run by clowns (curry garden) but this place has completly transformed in terms of all staffing and ownership. Now called light of india. Was really sceptical about giving this place another go because you hear people say change of management but it's the same people where as this place really is different. Safe to say I would really recommend!
