Just had the Banqueting night menu 6 items for Β£14. The mix grill starters was amazing. The staff are so polite and helpful. Definitely recommend it to friends and will be coming back again soon
So first time going to an Indian restaurant........ was bloody amazing. The food was amazing. I had a mixed grill for starters which was amazing (picture attached) I had a chicken tikka bhuna which was amazing I loved the flavour in that would defo recommend it. Servers was lovely. The manager was such a great person. They are under new management and I have to say they have done an amazing job would defo send all my friends there. They will definitely see me again. Thank you xx

Having not used this restaurant for a few years, since the previous ownership.
We decided to try again, under new management and as the light of India.
It has a lovely feeling , and all the staff very warm and welcoming.
The food was lovely, really hot and tasty.
Absolutely no complaints. Price was reasonable as well.
We met the wonderful Ronni, who was very entertaining.
We will definitely go back and will spread the word about trying the restaurant.
Will also now use for take away.
Best Indian restaurant in Romford. Light of India was initially recommended by my good friend and received a service more than what we expected. Chef got magic in his hands. Very personalised and intimate service by staffs. Went in with my grandson and he loved it too. Must try Light of India Special Chicken and Sizzling King prawnπ. Loved it and going back again ..

love tasting menus and this one didn't disappoint. The attention to detail was amazing. So many subtle tastes and textures. Lovely service too. Menu changes every Tuesday. Will definitely be back. Amazing value for such quality.

went to try this evening with a friend, and it was great!! Fantastic service, food was delicious and hot and everything was all clean. We will definitely be returning! And with 3 Indians in Collier row I would highly recommend this one.
Nice food and amazing stuff and service. The food was amazing and relatively inexpensive like a must eat home π made food π₯ we ordered tandoori king π€΄ prawn π€ and North Indian chicken π dishes food served very hot π₯΅ staff was very friendly and attentive. Would highly Recommend we will definitely come back again i not forget the light of India
