Really lovely old pub. Lovely staff and very dog friendly with doggy ice cream available. The food was lovely, the choice was very good as well. Portion sizes are very generous and gluten-free options available. Local produce and good quality veg and meats..Will definitely go back again.

The pub in its old form with the previous owners was stuck in the past and very dated. The new owners have given it a fantastic new face and really warm and welcoming feel.

E has a great meal here. The fish and chips was wonderful - fresh thick fish with just a light coat of batter- so much better than the more common thick batter with minimal fish. The sea bass was beautifully cooked. Desserts were yummy too
Six of us came for a meal and it was lovely.
Good was lovely and service was so friendly.
Couple of issues with our pudding order but these were so quickly put right very graciously.

Really delicious food & drinks, and wonderful service in beautiful surroundings.
We weren’t the easiest if tables with fussy children & allergies but our waitress (Megan?) went above & beyond to make sure we were well looked after and happy.

Enjoyable Sunday lunch with good, polite table service. Just be a bit careful if 6 foot or above as low ceilings. All in all would recommend and visit again.

Really nice food and very friendly service. Would certainly come here again. Burgers were tasty, but a bit overpriced. Ordering online from your table was a great feature and let us chill without waiting at the bar.
Nice pub, got a full gluten free menu, nice friendly staff, good prices, the portion sizes are large and very filling, you won't leave hear hungry, be prepared wear loose clothing, I left here with a shirt that suddenly felt a size too small.
Yet another meal in this fantastic pub, ventured out to try something else and paid the price. Returned to tried and tested where not only the food is amazing but the staff are exceptionally great. Thanks to Chris, Emily and team for looking after us and the steak was perfection.
