Monthly Quiz night at the Hatchet is a great laugh. New OZ cask ale 🍺 on which was very nice.

We both had roast pork dinner,it was delicious, large portions but every mouthful was devoured with ease and our plates were emptied leaving us full and happy 😊

Went for a birthday meal earlier this evening. Had the prawn cocktail, calves liver and onions and the strawberry Eton mess. Hubby had breaded whitebait, rack of ribs and sticky toffee pudding.
Wow. I’ve never managed to eat everything but the meal was lovely. Sizes are perfect, everything was beautifully presented and tasted of proper home made, freshness. Staff were so lovely and what is so unusual was the chef came out to say hi and ask if our meal was ok!! Already booked in again for next week and this lovely pub is, after years of absence, going to be our regular again

Stopped over in our motorhome after a long trip. Had food with them which was excellent throughout. Service was again excellent with the bar staff girls professionall and efficient.
The chef prepared everything to a high standard.
Would recommend anyone in the area to book for a meal.

We ate at the hachet inn excellent.
We walked for a local campsite to the pub 25 min walk .sat outside and staff came out to take our order .they set up a tab with no need for card .food came out piping hot and really tasty..
Would highly recommend this pub on the A27 great service and good food

Great atmosphere. Service was excellent and being an old style pub it added to the atmosphere. A mixture of ages and all very sociable.
