First visit. Wasn't sure if you were seated or not but you get your table and then order at the bar. Two carvery lunches. Mid week around noon and not busy.
The food was hot and tasty. Plenty of parking on both sides of the building.
Popped in while on a visit with parents. We had a wonderful carvery. Lots of meat and a great array of vegetables. Great service polite and friendly helpful staff. The parents have been back for carvery and loved it. I'll be back the next time I'm in the area.
Visited on Saturday afternoon with my mum , we decided to order the carvery and were please . The yourkshire puddings were enormous when we tried them they tasted wonderful, I had gammon which was delicious and mum had turkey and beef, both of which were moist and well cooked. The range of vegetables was excellent and all cooked just so . Great value meal for anyone and there are 3 sizes in plates depending on your appetite. The restaurant is clean, well set out and comfortable . Staff were all very attentive and polite

2 carvery meals 10/10 no fault at all
But 2 of us ordered off the menu which we felt disappointed with. The large mixed grill was of poor quality the sausages was clearly reheated from the breakfast menu because of the dry and flaky skin....
Jumbo hunters they forgot the hunters !!! So my daughter had to wait extra long then he came back with the hunters it kinda put her off the meal
Next time we will avoid menu items and stick to the carvery
Grown up family of 5 called for lunch on Monday, decent family meal, pub grub at a reasonable price. NHS discount applied, food gave no cause for complaint. Very good selection of drinks. Staff were friendly and thankfully fairly quiet. Loved the decor and the upper floor eating area
Rob & Kirsty were absolutely brilliant!! Great service couldn’t help me and my friends enough!! Will definitely be returning, even though I’m from derby they have made it worth the trip !!

Ordered a carvery found a seat.
No settings so asked a member of staff for some cutlery. Sat waiting and waiting dispite her walking past us several times.
Ended up finding our own.
Carvery was great and service there was great on there. And someone did ask if we were enjoying our food.
Camer here and experienced the carvery. The food was great, and friendly service too.
The restaurant was uncomfortably warm though, and I had to go outside for a cool off mid eating. I wasn't the only one complaining. Not sure if this was a one off, but it was cool outside on the day of visiting.
I have to admit being pleasantly impressed with this place.
The food was delivered quickly and the staff were extremely attentative and friendly.
They also have a function room for events, and a play area for the kids.
Decent amount of outdoor seating too, and ample parking.
It's just your standard self serve roast Carvery like you get at all the big chains, the meats decent quality, however the trimming are way overcooked, the veg is like mosh! Overall for the price though it's OK and serves a purpose, great paly area for the kids and the staff work hard.
