Had lunch there today cod chips and peas soft drink and coffee my companion had fish chips and a knicker bocker glory the fish was excellent the star of the meal but every thing was so delicious truly excellent the staff are really great too a very pleasant and enjoyable lunch went again with family

Had whitebait as starter and battered cod and chips for mains. I really enjoyed both. A lot! 🐟
What also stood out for me was that the sides were also excellent. I tried gravy, curry sauce and mushy peas.
Also the service was impeccable. 🙂

Went for take out on a Saturday, was busy but got the food pretty fast. Everything made fresh and very very tasty food!! Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting good fish and chips!!!
We went for lunch on a very busy Friday lunchtime and expected a long wait. We were seated immediately, had our order taken within five minutes, got our drinks within five minutes of ordering them and our food within ten minutes. The food is good and reasonably priced, and the service is excellent.
My first visit with my wife. Excellent, spacious and airy building, with well positioned tables for a variety of table settings. Good hot food, well presented and extremely friendly staff.

Both the fish and chips where really well cooked and very tasty but i do have to agree with the last review the fish was very thin in places and not very big for the price paid.
Took the grandchildren there. If you like fish and chips it's a brilliant place to go. Lovely, spotlessly clean and super food. Gluten free available . Colouring and puzzles for the kids. Friendly staff and service was very quick. Kids menu with all the usual bits. 😋
Very good fish and chips, piping hot, but avoid sitting under the air con as it will ruin your meal. They say they cannot switch off the fans, but will move your table if you want. So my advice is look up and decide where to sit to avoid cold food and a stiff neck.
