Absolutely beautiful fish chips peas with bread and butter excellent service definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again.
We have been regulars at Marina’s restaurant for quite a number of years. Clare the waitress who works on a Saturday is an absolute gem. She’s warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. She makes you feel at ease and is really down to earth and welcoming. She’s been off for a number of weeks and we really didn’t feel comfortable without her there. There was an older lady who served us and she was rather rude to me and my mum and my autistic daughter got upset, so we decided not to return until Clare was back. Clare is a great asset to the place and I’m sure the clientele return again and again because of her.
The prices were reasonable and offered great value for money. Considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, it's safe to say that this takeaway fish and chip shop is a true hidden gem in our community.
In conclusion, my experience with its friendly staff, excellent food, and nostalgic charm, it has become my go-to place for a satisfying meal. I highly recommend paying a visit if you're craving some delicious fish and chips. You won't be disappointed!

We had lunch everything was freshly cooked and was superb value for money. I had aunch special of fish chips and curry sauce. The fish was cooked to perfection, it was pure white & broke away on pieces when cut, the batter was crispy & light. You got plenty of chips, as it was the lunch time special for great value of £5.50, you also received a free sausage or fish cake. Chips were priced at £2.40 which I thought was also good value at the moment.

Have used this place for few years but tonight our group attended the food was ace as usual but the staff member on duty with big pony tail made us all feel like we shouldn’t be there. She has no people skills and had a frown on her face from walking in we had to ask for everything this is not the type of employee that is good for your business the lady we used to have was amazing this person never even bothered to ask if we wanted a pudding and then she called me back to say I had not paid her enough then she counted it out in front of me and said “oh two notes stuck together”not an apology. I also do not like being referred to as “love”she also severed a coffee which tasted of water no coffee she is not an advantage to your business it will not stop us visiting you but rest assured if we come in and she is there we will walk out. She could not even acknowledge that one of our party was completely blind.
Our first visit to the restaurant side I have had the takeaway lots of times, the service and food was really nice,I would highly recommend a visit.
Best fish and chips in Yorkshire my new place to go to everything fresh and cooked to perfection I didn't want it to end highly recommend you try it you won't be disappointed

Make sure you ask them to let them stand to dry, otherwise you get loads of oil if been cooked fresh

Sat down in the lovely restaurant section. Order quickly taken & promptly served. Pipping hot & delicious. Generous portion. Would highly recommend.
