A party of seven came for lunch today. We were shown to our table, served food and drinks to the table, both staff concerned were extremely polite, attentive and helpful. We all enjoyed our meals and the staff even sorted out individual bills for us all. A thoroughly enjoyable lunch. Thank you
Check in - was quick and the staff was great but didn't like where the reception was. Felt like I was standing over the local customers.
Getting to the room - was just a short walk over the road. Was fine
The room - Great size. The bed was very comfy and I slept like a baby. Had very thing you needed tea, coffee fresh towels. Just think a fresh lick of paint would have lifted the room. Wasn't sure on the stairs to the room would not of liked to try and get up them after a couple of drinks.
Breakfast - was greeted by a lovely staff member who told us to enjoy the Continental breakfast which was all you-can eat and the cooked breakfast was delicious.
Location - with what I saw a beautiful place. Wildlife all around. Would of like to stop 1 more day to explore the area.

Food and staff lovely. Really had a lovely afternoon so relaxing. The ambience of the place made you feel comfortable. Great.
For a stay over location this was perfect for what we needed , a bed for the night with food and drink amenities. The price indicates it’s not first class and the room needed a coat of paint . Despite this , we felt comfortable and with our continental breakfast we were refuelled and ready to go again . Set in the village of wentworth the good thing about the accommodation was , it was opposite the main pub building on the other side of the road , so very peaceful and quiet. All in all , a pleasant stay can be and was had
Staff were great. Breakfast was good value and freshly cooked and the location was fabulous.
The rooms a little tired and the WiFi was intermittent. We were told that there was to be a refurbishment soon. Hopefully we will see it on our next visit.
Called in for a couple after a nice walk to the church and through the village...
More rooms than I remember and loads of outdoor seating...
Popped in for some lunch on a nice sunny day in the beer garden
Lovely atmosphere and vibes, nice and quiet and food was reasonably priced but the food... Well it was slightly cold and a little hard aswell (pretty sure peas aren't ment to be hard)
But overall wasn't to bad for a cheeky lunch
A Sunday lunch on a sunny Sunday, nice little English pub.
Reviewed the pub before making the booking, Sunday lunch looked good and wasn't disappointed.
Food was very good, service was quick and friendly.
Only 4 * because beef wasn't pink, has indicated on the menu.
We had my son and daughter in law's wedding in the Barn last weekend. It was fabulous. Jess did a great job taking the pressure off the couple. The food was superb especially the hot roast pork!! The resident dj had the dance floor full with everyone singing and dancing. I can highly reccommend.
Thank you
My Wife and myself have just had a Lovely meal in the Rockingham served by Ellie who is excellent at her job and nothing was to much trouble for her.
Thank you very much.
