Food was amazing and the customer service was truly amazing. Even treated my partner to a cake for her birthday. Totally recommend.
Wow this place is really nice food, service, staff, dining in all 10/10 this is the only chippy to go to in town centre. I would highly recommend

Decent chippie in the centre of Rotherham. We ate in and there was a wait for food, as only two people were behind the counter, but I guess that's because it's a popular plaice. :-) Food was tasty and reasonably-priced. Staff were friendly and hard-working. Overall, an enjoyable lunch.
Really good, chips were great and the fish was really good with a nice light batter. Service was brilliant as well. It was the first time id been here but I will definitely be going again!

Does a good chips, peas and scallop needed a quick collection meal as I was heading home from work quite tired so appreciated the quick service and not much conversation.
Only con I say would be cans of pop are expensive don’t know where they source them but must be expensive for them as it’s £1.30
I can't believe that I was considering going to McDonald's before walking past The Place To Be today. The staff were so warm, welcoming and willing to accommodate me. The food was amazing, tastey and delicious. If you don't believe me, just go and try it once. You'll be back... trust me.
Beautiful fish and chips took my elderly aunt who was visiting me and every one was so loverly and a big pot tea to wash food down with excellent value best fish chips ever batter light and crispyxxx
Lovely plaice to be or that's what it should be called. Their meals are s*#t hot. The staff are lovely. Surroundings are clean and comfortable. No more to say.

Fantastic food with always friendly staff.... And now with a new updated menu.... Had homemade chilli sauce with my salad and it was hot hot hot sauce.... Excellent place and would highly recommend
