This place is not a steak house any longer. It's a Goan Indian restaurant. Called Goa. The food was beautiful n portion sizes pretty good. Only down fall the soft drink was very expensive ( lime n soda in half pint or less glass, nearly £4.)
Great setting for a nice meal. Everything cooked fresh to order. Chips were proper and delicious. Well worth a visit.
Really enjoyed the sunday lunch and the desserts were amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Will certainly be back.
Nice place, can be noisy with groups in but steak was very good. Had the tomahawk steak which was massive and really good quality. Would definitely come back.
Steak on the rock is amazing and a must if you want to try a steak exactly to your liking. Tip: get the butter with your steak, cut your steak in half and put some to the side and use the butter on your second half of steak.
Great steaks. Will come back again. Just the salad was bit old and tasted like dirt that is why 4 stars.

Friendly and relaxing restaurant. I highly recommend the cheese board ( enough for 2 ) and the chocolate orange cheesecake is amazing!!
Since new management have taken over I am impressed with the changes made so far especially the new menu. It takes time to make improvements and try new ideas. I think given the chance this restaurant will only go from strength to strength. Thank you to the staff for the excellent food and customer service.

Stuck waiting for the AA van to arrive we found this place. Not much to look at from the outside but inside it’s bright, airy and modern. Service was friendly and fast, nothing too much trouble (they lent my wife a phone charger) and the food was excellent quality pub fare using good ingredients with decent portions. Piping hot too! The whole place was spotlessly clean. Would certainly visit again.
Popped in today with the family for a spot of Sunday lunch. It's a place iv see often but never gave it a go.
It's under new management. The dinners were spot on, piping hot, well presented, plentiful and delicious. My Grandson ate the lot.
We decided to have desserts, I chose the Baileys Cheesecake, home made and blooming delicious.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating and its a place we will all return to now 😊
A fantastic night at the double barrel for our Crystal wedding celebration. The service was excellent. The food was the best we have ever tasted. There were 20 of us sitting down to a 3 course meal. I could not believe how excellent it was presented and cooked to everyone liking. Rachel is a wonderful hosts and makes sure you are happy with everything. We had the champagne room. It was beautiful decorated with white table cloths and chair covers. I would recommend this nice friendly restaurant to anyone looking for a party, wedding. Whatever you function you will enjoy the experience and excellent cuisine.
Recently had our works Christmas party here. The staff were delightful, we were served at the bar quickly and with a smile. The three course meal was exceptional. It was piping hot, plentiful and tasty. The waiting staff could not do enough for us, they made service checks and constantly made sure that we had everything that we wanted. It was a well organised, smooth running night and it was made to look effortless. It certainly gives the bigger establishments a run for their money and a great price as well! We all had a wonderful night and would definitely recommend.
Best steak I've had in a long while, flame grilled in Jack Daniels and cooked to perfection.
The service was very relaxed and personal with who I presume was the owner actually coming out at one point speaking about the chefs styles and upcoming menus.

This for me was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The mixed grill is well worth the money cooked perfect and homemade chips and black pudding make it even better. Prices are very fair and friendly helpful staff. Will be returning highly recommended.
Grandsons birthday party food lovely and loads of it. Kids have had an awesome time.
Absolutely amazing food. As I said to the lady who served me and my family, it was the best meal out I've had in a really long time. High quality and lots of flavour. Good size portions and really yummy. Would definitely go again and would definitely recommend to friends!
