Visited quite a few times to eat in and takeaway. The food is second to none for both. The cll you can eat is very filling and we rarely ask for seconds. The only down side is that it can sometimes be a long wait as they get very busy on Saturday nights.

I want to have the chef's baby, This is the best Chinese takeaway I have ever had, I came to visit a friend in Rotherham and we decided to get a takeaway, I simply chose new modern from a list and I'm blown away, the staff were nice on the phone, the egg fried rice was fantastic, the colours of the food when unpacked was fantastic, the egg fried rice was like nothing I've ever had, so light and tasty, everything that came was clean, nothing over oiled or drowned in water. The thing that really got me was the sweet n sour sauce, simply out if this world, this is a must for a special evening.

We were staying at a local hotel and wanted something different to eat, so glad we tried Modern China, even though we did read the reviews and were apprehensive. We had the buffet, what a treat. Everything was freshly prepared and very tasty. Will definitely visit again and recommend. Reasonably priced too. As previous reviewers have mentioned, don’t be put off by the negative reviews, well worth a visit.

Had takeaway at a friends from here a couple of times and was always really nice so decided to order in tonight. Although there was a mix up with our order it was fixed within 20 minutes and the food still arrived early. Salt and pepper chicken and chips were delicious and spring rolls were the best I’ve had.

I've not been for a couple of months and according to recent reviews it's gone downhill...this isn't the case at all. We went this evening and the food and service were spot on. We have various items from the menu including meat and fish as I'm pescertarian.. all was gorgeous and arrived hot and fresh. We enjoyed it so much I'm taking my family next week to celebrate my birthday.
