Great pub in local village location. the garden overlooks fields to the south.
6 real ales on tap is fantastic offering.
The Saturday lunch menu was made with quality ingredients cooked to perfection. I had the expertly cooked calves liver.
We had a great evening here. A lovely country relaxed style pub in the quiet village. We only enjoyed the excellent selection of beers so I'm unable to comment on the food. but there appeared to be a good number of happy diners

Pleasant village pub in a picturesque setting. Several small comfortable rooms and generous bar. Four cask ales on offer and the two sampled were well conditioned and served by friendly staff. Limited lunch menu but food good and promptly served. Very cozy by the inglenook fire.
Popped in here for Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed. Definitely the best roast I've eaten from a pub/restaurant, loads of veg, well cooked meat and the gravy was amazing. Now a freehouse with a good range of ale, which has new additions on a regular basis. Been visiting for 30 + years, and still well worth a visit. Garden on a sunny day is a nice location
Unremarkable food but it is reasonably priced and the setting is fantastic. Large garden overlooking countryside with plenty of seating. Inside is nice enough. Decent selection of local beers.
I keep coming back for Sunday lunch and it never disappoints! Lovely garden out back and cosy interiors. Service is always great too.

Went for a meal here- very nice food and a very cute dog that is walking around in here. The staff gave very good service and was so friendly. We decided to play a round of Jenga- but as it was my first attempt ever- I did not win.

Forgotten just how brilliant a pub it is. Really well kept range of mostly local beers. Awesome service and even the locals are friendly.
