Great pub in local village location. the garden overlooks fields to the south. 6 real ales on tap is fantastic offering. The Saturday lunch menu was made with quality ingredients cooked to perfection. I had the expertly cooked calves liver.
We had a great evening here. A lovely country relaxed style pub in the quiet village. We only enjoyed the excellent selection of beers so I'm unable to comment on the food. but there appeared to be a good number of happy diners The two girls.mamming the point that evening were having to cover both f
Pleasant village pub in a picturesque setting. Several small comfortable rooms and generous bar. Four cask ales on offer and the two sampled were well conditioned and served by friendly staff. Limited lunch menu but food good and promptly served. Very cozy by the inglenook fire.
Popped in here for Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed. Definitely the best roast I've eaten from a pub/restaurant, loads of veg, well cooked meat and the gravy was amazing. The rest of the table had skewers, mixed grill l, chicken burger and bangers and mash....all eaten and they loved every bit o
There are 3 nice things and 3 big problems. Very nice team, perfect atmosphere and pub good with people and dogs. Food was available plus. Sunday roast Lamb was chuwy, veggies not done nicely and not very good value. I would have a word with the chef if I could
Now a freehouse with a good range of ale, which has new additions on a regular basis. Been visiting for 30 + years, and still well worth a visit. Garden on a sunny day is a nice location
Unremarkable food but it is reasonably priced and the setting is fantastic. Large garden overlooking countryside with plenty of seating. Inside is nice enough. Decent selection of local beers.
I keep coming back for Sunday lunch and it never disappoints! Lovely garden out back and cosy interiors. Service is always great too.
Amazing food. Gorgeous location and the view at the back is breathtaking. Olly the manager very friendly and welcoming also other stuff that work there. I will recommend to all my friends this lovely pub. Thank you.
Lovely little pub with picturesque views, dog friendly as well
Lovely afternoon spent here, food was spot on and then the garden area was just beautiful! Such a quaint country pub.
Lovely find. Great beer and fab view out the back. Will be visiting again!
Amazing food, great location,Fantastic views from the pub garden Friendly staff, and the prices are very good. we will 100% be back again
Went for a meal here- very nice food and a very cute dog that is walking around in here. The staff gave very good service and was so friendly. We decided to play a round of Jenga- but as it was my first attempt ever- I did not win.
Lovely peaceful country pub, with unspoilt views and a delightful atmosphere
Very good pub grub at an affordable price. Warm welcome from those behind the bar and the locals were friendly as well. Definitely worth a visit, quite easy to find either off of the A30 or A30. Pint of Badger that I consumed was in tip top condition.
Not been back here since we used to do a regular event at the hall over the road. Forgotten just how brilliant a pub it is. Really well kept range of mostly local beers. Awesome service and even the locals are friendly. What more could you want?
