Never been before and live local. Went for a lovely walk up the greenway and then to coach for Sunday Roast. Best roast dinner in the area I’ve had by far, would definitely recommend booking as it’s very busy and recommend the belly pork it was to die for. Service excellent and all around it was lovely can’t fault it! Will definitely be back!

Went here after hearing from word of mouth how good the food was. We was greeted by a lovely friendly barmaid shown to our seats and had our orders taken. Had pie chips and peas was beautiful the chips was home made and so fluffy. We also had the chill and it was beautiful could taste all the flavours. Good portion size for money was not disappointed at all will 100 percent be definitely returning.

Had a gorgeous Sunday dinner after a big walk. Ordered extra cauliflower cheese and it was gorgeous. We were running a bit late too but after a quick phone call they were very accommodating. Will defo be back 👍

First visit and definitely not the last. The food was really good, great value and fab service too. I’m very particular about roast dinners cos nothing ever matches my Mum’s but this was really good.

Enjoyed a tasty burger and pint of Guinness,staff could not have been more pleasent and helpful. Nothing too fancy, but this was reflected in the price. If I visit the area again wouldn't hesitate to drop in for food and drink. Plenty of free parking.

Used the pub for a wake and everyone thought the place was really nice and a really great choice of venue. Food was excellent (particularly the chips). Food and drinks very well priced and the staff were so very welcoming and helpful, the chef even chatting through some vegan options with one of our group. You must visit this brilliant pub.
