Photo from April, 2023. We had a great meal, very good prices - a curry, rice, and glass of wine for only £15.
Stumbled in by chance whilst in Rottingdean... Best Thai I've had in Brighton and Hove. All four of us thought it was excellent. Thai red with duck absolutely delicious!
This place seems to get bad reviews due to the staff, but when we went in the man and the woman were very friendly, I got a very different experience to what it says in here. The man was telling us all about Thailand with some very funny stories. The food was also really good and cheaper than loads of other Thai places now
Lovely restaurant and takeaway. Friendly staff. Food in my experience is excellent. The best coconut rice ever. Nice area - fairly easy parking. Can get very busy so ALWAYS book.
My parents live in Rottingdean and visiting Ros Thai is always one of the highlights of our visit. The food is delicious, love the starter dumplings and prawn crackers. It was very busy last night and they did an exceptional job serving everyone quickly and efficiently. love their sticky rice too!
Pricing is very reasonable too!
I have no idea what those negative comments are about. Just been there and there were two ladies and the restaurant was very quiet and empty at first as it was 6:30 p.m. It started getting busy shortly after we walked in. Both of the ladies were very pleasant, friendly and welcoming. We ordered starters, two mains and drinks. Everything was delicious and the bill was quite fair. Okay the decor is not the best but who cares if the food and service is good? We both thought the food was very authentic and loved the friendly faces there. Oh, and, everything was sparkling clean!
Lovely food - best Thai food we have had in a long time. Especially the fried cod and coconut rice. Banana fritters were the best ever!
Love this place. Great food. We’re always greeted by Niran [spelling?] who is the loveliest lady. Sometimes is open when google maps suggests it is closed so would recommend calling just in case.
We always enjoy our visits to Ros Thai. It is glaringly obvious when the chef is not Thai. Here, every dish tastes as it would if you had ordered it on Sukumvit Rd-delicious.
The best Thai restaurant for miles.
We've been to Thailand and love our Thai food and this little place is a gem. So many Thai restaurants in the UK are afraid to use the right level of heat in the hotter dishes - not here.
You'll need to book.
always nice, have been coming here for years.
Very pleasant staff polite and efficient.
all dishes are consistantly nice .
Beer great wine acceptable.
Made for the english palate than authentic Thai food but why not.
We keep coming so it must be good.
The wife and I popped in here for some snacks really as we were staying in a local hotel as we're from out of town, and the food was excellent. We had Tom Yam Prawn. Fried Noodles. Som Tam. Rice.
We eat alot of Thai food and I must say it was perfect. Friendly staff too.
If I lived here, this place would be one of the places we would goto on a regular basis. Lovely.
It's 14 years since I last ate there and I can't think why because the food is very good and the staff pleasent. It's small and not the smartest but is in a nice location next to the beach. Very very popular so booking well in advance is often called for
Excellent tasty food. Enjoyed my curry. Freindly welcoming staff. Popular Restaurant for locals living in Rottindean. Would like to try a Take away next time
