Second visit to The Square Peg and outstanding yet again. Rob is so humble yet his passion comes through in every dish. Each visit brings exciting new local discoveries, and the whole experience is lovely - such a treat to not be rushed and have time to savour each course.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Every dish is fantastically constructed with beautiful and unique flavours and the wine pairing was spot on (and included some very unique options, e.g. a 7 year old ice cider which was delicious!). Really lovely environment and service as well, like eating dinner in your friend's comfortable living room except your friend is a Michelin star quality chef! Highly recommended, thanks very much!

The Square Peg is an absolute hidden gem in Tunbridge Wells. The food here is some of the best we’ve had, and the atmosphere it not your usual fine dining (in the best way). From the minute you walk in the door of this magical restaurant it’s clear you’re in for a treat. I recommend The Square Peg to everyone I know…there’s a reason we’ve been here multiple times! Be sure to book a table before everyone catches on.

Had a fab meal here on Friday night, six course tasting menu delivered by chef Rob and his team. Plus accompanying wines and beverages. Please go check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing burgers available to take away at the moment (Dec 2020). We had 'The Rossini One' and 'The Steak and Lobster One', and both were delicious. Freshly prepared with great ingredients. They opened during the pandemic so really important to support local restaurants like this. I look forward to coming back!

For me this is as good as a restaurant can get: inventive, perfectly poised dishes, beautifully presented without ever being showy. Fresh and seasonal food that is inspired by the nooks and crannies of British food culture and history. Everything is sourced as locally as possible, right down to the gorgeous handmade tableware, and the the service is just-right: friendly and well-judged with just enough explanation about each dish to enhance the experience. Swoon-inducing food made with heart and soul and love.

I doubt it will be very long before there's a lead time to get a reservation here. We enjoyed the 5 course taster menu where each dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented. The wine was equally great, with pairing options provided for each course. The restaurant itself is cosy, romantic and relaxed. The kitchen is open, and you can observe Rob creating each dish fresh. The service was attentive. Be prepared to take your time though, 5 courses can't be rushed. Will most definitely be returning.

The Square Peg is a delightful experience from start to finish, the food is amazing. The space is cosy and the people friendly, we particularly loved the 90's play list! The tasting menu was beautifully presented and delicious. This is Slow Food though, each mouthful needs to be savoured and each course is worth the wait. So don't go if you like to bolt your food, there's a pizza place next door for that.
