Really calming place to go, weather was lovely so we decided to go to the lake for a nice day out in the sun.
They were very polite and whilst cakes I wanted to eat were sold out I was happy with what I ended up ordering.
Wasn't too expensive, just a great place to go to get a snack whilst sitting
This cafe is just right next to the play park and the lake. Homemade cakes fairly priced for the family to enjoy. Friendly happy staff open during half term holiday. Car park with limited spaces is free as is the park.
Due to the current situation sadly this cafe was closed it’s a real shame as there was a lot of people around,who I’m sure would have liked something to eat and drink..Could have easily sat outside at a safe distance,doesn’t make sense to me as you can all go into the enclosed area of a supermarket

Stopped off at this lovely little tea stop. Served by a lovely friendly lady, who makes an absolute cracking cuppa, and a beautiful array of freshly made cakes, and at very reasonable prices. Beautifully clean and well presented tea shop. A little gem 👍
A lovely little cafe serving cakes, toasties, teas, coffees, ice creams etc every Weds-Sun 10-4.
There are several picnic tables outside to enjoy your food. The staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
They even cater to dogs, selling sausages and dog ice cream.
