Review The White Hart - Roydon

Had a decent stilton Ploughmans here on a bike ride yesterday, for a very reasonable ten quid. The Abbot ale was on good form and the staff were more than helpful. I will be back!

Excellent ploughman's excellent beer and staff very friendly ... A well worth a visit.. especially the man outside in his car who needed a little drink.

Friendly pub for lunch with an extraordinary menu (surf and turf!) as well as baked potatoes! You really could push the boat out here if you wanted. We stopped in for lunch after a walk round the marina. Hence the baked potato - which was very good.

Love this place. It is an unassuming pub but with absolutely delicious food and friendly service. We bring family and friends here often. The play area needs an upgrade though!

The White Hart a charming old pub located a short walk from the River Stort for lovely strolls. We arrived on a quiet sunny afternoon in mid-September and was made most welcome by cheerfully nice Zoe. The menu is extensive and includes dishes of the day backed up by old favourites and a selection of Turkish dishes. The prawn in garlic sauce starter is supremely tasty. There is a secluded garden to the rear ideal for a cosy meeting or reading in the warm sun. Highly recommended.

Really good fresh cooked food. You have to wait a bit but really worth it. Very nice couple who run the place and large menu?

Your menu is not only diverse but also incredibly delicious, and your staff is always attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have enjoyed everything from your appetizers to your desserts, and I always leave feeling satisfied and happy.

Very nice place for a Sunday lunch, with a good Sunday roast or (among plenty of other options) authentic Turkish food if you prefer.

Many thanks to all at the white Hart tonight. My wife and I plus her niece from ireland had a fantastic dinner with crepes and apple and cherry crumble for our sweet. This is a prefered vunue for us and the food and staff are fantastic. How many chefs check with you that all is well and a waitress who asks after your health. I would recommend his vunue to anyone who likes to eat out, from lunch to dinner any day and Sunday lunch is well worth it too. Many thanks

Popped in here on the off chance on Saturday and OMG am I pleased we did - we ordered a few appetisers (calamari, fish cakes, Mediterranean prawns etc.) and every dish was AMAZING! Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to go back

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch meal at the White Hart yesterday. The only down point was that I could of chose so many options off of the menu! Looks like we will just have to go back again.. 😊👌🏻

Had dinner here with friends, the food was lovely, really good. Food was piping hot and very tasty, would recommend the beef wellington. Staff were friendly and very helpful, they had a good knowledge of the menu and nothing was to much trouble. We will be back soon.
