I popped down for a few beers and a bite to eat after work. Staff were friendly, food was well presented and tasted nice for a fair price. I had fish and chips; it was tasty and cooked well. I would certainly recommend The Moreton Inn if you’re local or passing by.

Very friendly staff and locals, cozy inside and the platter we had was lovely! There's a little play area for kids in the garden which is cool too. Really enjoyed visiting here
Been for 3 meals recently and both of us have had great food and great service. I have asked for a change to a set meal and been accommodated with a smile. Recommend the food 100%
Nice friendly local pub. Food is served and looks amazing. Staff are brilliant and it's very clean including the glasses which is always good.
Well what can I say.
We went Sunday the 19th for a family roast, we all wanted roast beef.
The Yorkshire puddings was very large, plenty of beef, and assorted vegs.

The staff were EXCELLENT, defo would go again next time we go to North Wales.

Nice home cooked food with proper chips at a reasonable price. Much better than the microwave rubbish many places serve up.
The Morton is one of my "en Route" favourite watering holes whenever travelling north towards Holyhead, Chester, or Liverpool. Sneak off at Ruabon heading for Johnstown and back on route at the next junction after Johnstown. A Traditional Coaching Inn , now with a family approach.inc. play area in the side garden, & meals that are good but don't break the bank.
