Asked for battered bits as there was no chicken meat, (this was pretty much last order on Uber eats which made sense why there was no chicken marinade left) And yea they gave me battered bits which they didn’t need to do, sometimes its the little things that create the bigger pictu
Definitely the best chippy south of the river. Great sized haddock and the chips are cooked to perfection. Their mixed Chicken Naan is out of this world too. Combine it with a visit to one of Rudds great pubs👌

Crispy but deliciously soft chips, pizzas were amazing. Very well organised staff. Very impressed with my order and the service. Kebab meat on the pizza was good quality and the pizza base is very good quality.
First time at this outlet chips 100,% the best I have in a long while come from down south was told double fried and certainly were crispy and soft inside fish obviously haddock a true favourite of mine and done my favourite way skin on nice crispy batter fish and chips done correctly will I be back

I've always used this chip shop. After the last few times, tonight will be my last.
What is it about portion sizes? You no longer do small portions. I unwrapped my food. It went straight in the bin. There was far too much on my plate. Even trying to sort a smaller portion put me off.
Although parking during the day is hit and miss, the shop itself is perfectly OK. The fish and chips are excellent.
When I last visited (during the day, when I miraculously found somewhere to park), they cooked to order, and it was fresh and tasty.

£7 for this tikka dressed kebab with a huuuge portion of chips... took this picture nearly 24 hours later, to find my cold meat equally delicious and of high quality. Fresh, fast service, so would use again ;)
No matter how often we go to seaside chippies feted as 'The Best', none come better than our local 😊
