Great fish bar. Fresh meal cooked, fish lovely with light batter and chips cooked to order, big portion, mushy peas gorgeous. Friendly staff. Would go back for sure.

Superb fish and chips with massive portions! Staying at a Air b&b this was in walking distance. I don't have fish and chips often, but was very glad I had them here. Very tasty and would come back. Had the cod and chips with curry sauce, delicious ☺
Excellent! Chips are top notch, and they do Haggis and Black Pudding too!
Plus all the usual extras... Curry sauce is a bit lame and watery, but that's just a nit pick.
Fish is OK... but can sometimes have that annoying thing where the batter sticks to the paper wrapping instead of to the fish!

Really good place, clean and with very friendly people. The fish was freshly prepared and it was delicious!
It's a chippy, not bad all said and done, quite happy, reasonable prices.
Since the first day it opened back in 2010, the quality of the food has never dipped.
The original owner was lovely and the shop always had a friendly atmosphere.
