Delicious food, friendly and attentive staff. Would highly recommend and will certainly visit again. Mixed grill well worth the money, lamb shank very tasty and cooked to perfection. All in all, we had a superb meal.
Lovely old pub with plenty of charm and character, plus delicious food and great service. You can even bring your dog into the pub which was handy after our long walk through the beautiful Staffordshire countryside.

Popped in the Swan with two necks after a walk on the chase with the dog. The pub staff were very welcoming. We both had the roast beef off the menu. I must say it's the best roast beef meal I've had out at any pub. It's the first time we've ever visited the Swan, but it won't be the last.

Lively and friendly. I have often experienced times when locals are tribal and passive hostile, when strangers enter for the first time , not the case here. Friendly all round, lively and great atmosphere. Very busy for a Wednesday night. We'll taken care of and we will be coming again, thank you.
The menu was great, quality of the food and drinks were great, and what really made the difference was the staff were happy, smiling and attentive, which made for a very pleasant evening
Probably best Sunday lunch I've had and i've had a few. Great food, good service always consistent with "all the meats Sunday lunch" and desert menu. Only slight negative is the 3 sittings on a Sunday every 2 hours where 3 hours feels more in-line with ÂŁ100 for 4 people.
