We ate in the bar. The food was really good. Just felt a little cramped at the table and ended up moving when some people left as did a few other people. Could do with looking at the layout. If this was sorted it would have been 5 stars all round

We had a wonderful Sunday afternoon for my Son's birthday it was our first visit here which was easly booked on-line and it was agreed by all that we thoroughly enjoyed it we had the most delicious carvery there was so much to choose and everything was cooked perfectly. The lady who served us was really friendly as so sweet to our Grandaughter. We have decided it will be a return visit for us for sure if I could give it 10+ stars I would. Highly recommended!!!!

Came here for a carvery today and very pleased we did. We had a fantastic meal. Jo, did us proud with a selection of 3 lovely meats, with a wide variety of fresh vegetables. Mustn't forget the huge Yorkshire pudding. We left a tiny bit of food, this was only to allow us just enough room for her delicious Sticky toffee pudding. The rest of the staff who looked after us, were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for them. Amy, Ellie and Frankie were also in top form, in meeting all of our needs. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again real soon. Thanks a lot folks.

Absolutely love this place, I have been here quite a few times with friends and family. The 2 meals for £12 are good value for money. Good portion size and very tasty. The homemade onion rings are to die for. Sunday carvey, well what can I say absolutely fantastic, they give you plenty of meat and you can help yourself to as much veg as you want. I would highly recommend the cauliflower cheese. The staff are very welcoming and nothing is to much trouble. Lovely place.

After being let down at the Colliers Arms we rang here to see if the Carvery was still available, they had a big party on but still managed to fit us in at short notice. The food was brilliant,one of the best home cooked carveries ive had in a long time, staff were great and the place was spotless. Thank you for fitting us in at short notice. We will definatley be returning. Once again thank you too all the staff👍👍

We had a beautiful meal here on Sunday evening. 16oz rump steak cooked perfectly and the gammon which was so tender. Nice chunky chips and homemade onion rings. Huge portions. Shame the lad that served me at the bar could of been more enthusiastic

In June, we were visiting my sister and because there are no decent pubs in Pelsal, I booked a table at the Windmill, as I have never experienced a bad meal or poor service. Well worth the 15 minute drive. On draft they had a nice tasty porter and the house white was fine, as were the meals, which arrived hot. Great service great food. There was a reasonable selection of meals, including vegetarian. A great local pub, wish we had one like this in Catherine-De-Barnes, where I live. Will certainly visit again.

We sat out side to have our meal I ordered a 16oz steak and chips, wife had steak and ale pie, and the little one had the fish fingers meal, all the meals were hot, which was great, the meals were plentiful and cooked superbly, I was extremely impressed with our meals and well worth the money, I recommend the onion rings to anyone as a extra side order. The staff are always very pleasant too. Top marks from me

I ordered "Lamb shank" and the `usual` accompaniments , mine was 1 of 8 plus a child`s portion . All arrived at the same time after a reasonable wait. Mine was excellent and so too was the rest of the table`s , judging by the empty plates . ( a few had too much !). Defintely worth the reasonable prices charged and very well worth a high recommendation .

We have been using this pub for ages but i wanted to try some thing different as I usually have the delicious steak. I had a query about one of the specials and checked with one of the waitresses, with in a few minutes the chef came out and explained in detail what was in the meal. Both my partners and my meal was perfect and we will be back as soon as we can. All of the staff are always helpful and polite.

First visit here and definitely going back. I had the shoulder of lamb it fell off the bone and very tender. Hubby had chicken with bbq sauce cheese and bacon chicken was so tender. Would recommend that you go and try it here.

Been coming to the windmill since I've been a baby (so pretty much 26 years). I've always had salmon so never really had any problems (apart from tonight- my meal was wrong so my partner ate his entire meal before mine had to be redone- plus my partners meal was cold) where as every one who I've been with (family and friends who have been coming here much longer) have steak and very regularly have steak which is massively under done, over done or just not right. Out of loyalty we don't normally complain as it's usually resolved - but still- everyone is still waiting for there food while every one finishes theirs. Like me tonight. Aside from the now average food, my partner ordered a jack Daniels and coke for me which was absolutely fine. Orders another one and brings it back- can only taste coke and nothing else (I had the JD & come right next to this new drink in comparison- it was coke and that's it. My partner complained and the bar tender topped up (literally half a cm if that) still tasted like coke so assuming the whiskey was watered down. Got to the receipt and they had charged us for 3 whiskey and cokes. We would have happily paid for 3 if we had them but we didnt. Dennis, who has known my family for years had a terrible attitude, started being sarcastic and laughing when we explained saying they were 'legal measures' when the two drinks tasted completely different. Overall, it's £3, but it's the last straw. Terrible food, terrible attitude and lost our custom for good.

place..also to top it of they do real draught bass...never had a bad meal ever.

Will be giving the Windmill a miss for a while. Second time in a few weeks I've had to sent the cottage pie back as it was stone cold, Can I suggest you purchase a new microwave or get the chef who uses it to read the instruction on the one you already have. You never seem to see the same staff, many college kids who really couldn't give a damn about service or manners.

Took a drive out to find a nice country pub to have a family meal. Fantastic :-) they allowed us to take our dogs in. The food and service was fantastic. Can not wait to return.
