Deb's Fish Bar

Deb's Fish & Chips is in my opinion the best in Rushden. We are regulars so that says a lot. The range is great and it is cooked to order for you. The atmosphere can be a bit manic due to number of delivery orders that are dealing with. The volume of those orders tells you that a lot of people agree with us!

Great local chippy, serving an extra portion of care! Stopped here on Friday evening, as we had visitors from abroad who wanted the fish and chip experience and we needed a gluten free option. Deb’s fish bar did not disappoint! Gluten free cod and haddock tasted almost exactly the same as the regular gluten ones. When ordering and needing a little extra advice and help service went above and beyond, even though it was during the Friday evening rush. Also saved us money as we would have massively over ordered. Portions were enormous. Personally, I preferred the cod over the haddock as the haddock still had the skin on, but that is 100% personal preference.

I cannot give this place enough stars! I was very impressed with the quality of the food. The fish was fluffy and tender with such gorgeous batter. I don't know how the team at Debs fish bar do it, but please keep it up! Even the friendliest of each and every staff member, despite being so busy they were all so happy to chat to us and make us feel so welcomed when waiting for our food. You can tell they all look out for each other, and shows a nice working environment. We will definitely be back for more delicious food! Thank you all at Debs fish bar for such a great service all round, it is greatly appreciated by us!!

Absolutely fantastic as always! My grandmother and I are usually regulars here, ordered for my family, we ordered two regular chips, one small cod and two regular haddock. 100% gluten free, my family are 100% happy. Only showing three plates in the photo as my grandma couldn’t wait to eat her delicious food!
