We used this fish and chip shop every Friday lunchtime as I was their postman and would always have battered sausage and chips..
I can highly recommend both especially the battered sausage which was always really enjoyed.
A decent little chippy which serves really good food.
Haven't been to this chip shop for many many years, but called in this lunchtime for fishcake and chips, the lady serving was very polite and welcoming.
The food was well cook and hot!
If I'm passing again I will be calling in for more.
Cannot fault the fish and chips ,all fresh ,fish is done in a light crispy batter and generous portion of chips ,service is good and only time I have had to wait is when fish or chips are coming straight out of the fryer, doesn't smell of cooking oil which is a good sign they are using fresh oil .
Just ordered a fish chips and mushy peas for £9.10, food perfectly cooked and good value for money worth the travel from Wellingborough
This has just got to be the best place for Fish and Chips. I have visited twice and both times have had a piece of fish cooked fresh for me (Haddock & Plaice) the batter is thin and crispy and you can actually taste the fish as it's not being overwhelmed by loads of batter like the majority of place
