A great inn for a social gathering. Plenty of indoor space and a superb garden available when the weather is good. There is also a substantial coveted outdoor space. We had a gathering and a buffet there October 2023 and were very impressed with the venue, the food and the service. There is also plenty of parking.
Loved our visit to this pub, really friendly staff, great food, and only place around that serves Black Rat, a particularly tasty cider! Great afternoon entertainment in the garden with a Rat Pack tribute singer. Do I smell a rat? 😂 Wonderful pub!
Been here a few times and always a lovely environment. But the best experience was having mine and my wife's wedding reception here. They helped so much with storing food and decorations. Love this place
Popped in for drinks but pleasantly surprised by the interior and the garden is huge.
Love the idea of seeing a live band in the garden in the future.

I would just like to say a big thank you to all of the staff and management for hosting my 50th birthday party last Saturday evening. I have received so many comments on what a great party venue it was. The staff were amazing and friendly. Food was really nice too. The disco and karaoke was a blast too and everyone had a brilliant time singing and dancing. I cannot however blame you for my sore head on the Sunday. Thanks again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Huge garden, pleasant friendly landlord. Good choice of drinks as it was a Freehouse. Didn't eat here as kitchen wasn't open when we visited, it closes for a few hours around 3pm. Would return.

The Windmill Inn! In my opinion, this is easily the best pub in the area. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff and regular patrons who make you feel right at home.
On my recent visit, I tried their curry night deal - just £10 for a delicious curry and a refreshing pint. I was blown away by how tasty the curry was - it had the perfect balance of spices and flavors, and was served in a generous portion size. The pint was perfectly poured and hit the spot after a long day.
The Windmill Inn has a great selection of beers and other drinks, too, and the staff are always happy to recommend something new or chat about what's on tap. I love the cozy atmosphere of the pub, with its warm lighting and comfortable seating.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Windmill Inn to anyone looking for a great night out in the area. The curry night deal is unbeatable value, and the staff always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. This pub truly has a special charm and I can't wait to come back again!

Really great family run pub. Warm welcoming old school place. Good food with an open fire and decent range of beers. Toilets were very clean and there's a great space outside that'll be fantastic in the summer. Shout out to Bradley and the team for looking after us so well.

So we had a family celebration at the Windmill yesterday, they were very helpful beforehand in catering to our requirements. We had a party of 20 and the food arrived almost at the same time. It was very nice from lamb shanks to the gluten free burgers required. Great beer and sensibly priced. Nice tidy garden and children’s play area. The staff were friendly and helpful, the background music was not invasive so we could all talk, all in all a good time. Recommended
