Marino's Fish Restaurant &takeaway

Very nice fish and chip restaurant and take away. Ate in on a busy Saturday evening. Prices are reasonable, not cheap and not expensive. Decent cod and chips. Nice burgers with salad. Pot of tea only does one cup. Alcohol available. Service wise it's fine, but staff hand plates to you in the air rather than put it down on the table for you.

Absolutely weird and terrible service at the take-out station. I couldn't tell whether the woman at the register despised her coworkers or the group of customers more. I was equally relieved and appalled that she continued this behavior with the patrons after us. I half expected her to spit at my face or to pick up and huck the register at someone. Note that despite this, we still give it five stars. This was due to the price vs. quality + quantity of the food. It was absolutely great! If you want fish and chips to go, stand in line here for a few minutes, just maybe try not to make eye contact with the classy lady running the register lest you risk being turned to stone.

We decided to try the fish and chips here and we were not disappointed. My husband had a medium fish and chips and I had the childs fish and chips and this was plenty with a pot of curry sauce and a pot of mushy peas and two forks. We sat in the churchyard and listened to the evening bird song. Such a delight xx

Lovely fish and chips served here, and great value for money too. Nice sized portion of fish and loads of chips, served with a nice large slice of lemon. Couldn't want anything more, and if you do, they have a decent sides menu, as well as a selection of deserts. Staff very friendly and attentive, nice and clean throughout, my only disappoinment was the toilets which are in need of a revamp, and a mop as the floor was like an ice rink.. Even staff say it's a problem that needs sorting... That was my only gripe, but you go there to eat, not check out the toilets!!! I would highly recommend and revisit.
