Being here for a week, we took the dog for a walk, and stopped off at The Pendle Witch. We were made to feel very welcome by the landlord and lady, who have recently taken over. Pendle Witch, excellent village pub, relaxed atmosphere, good music provided by landlord, Damien, & also live music events. Damien & Gilly & the bar staff always welcome you with a friendly smile & good service.

Wednesday night is open mike night. Good for musicians to have a place to play. Friendly staff as well.
Limited choice of ales, one of which wasn’t very appealing. Some outdoor seating. Dreadful music spoiling the atmosphere.
It were quite busy when we went bit no busier than you might expect on a Friday tea time. They have a mobile wood fired pizza place at the back too which was a nice addition and on the whole the atmosphere was friendly and convivial.

In my humble opinion, the kind of pub I wish was my local. Good beer, interesting locals, a little on the odd, quirky, slightly seedy side. I loved it.

Great pub in the heart of Pendle Witch country. They sell Moorhouse's White Witch and it's proper old skool. Well worth a visit.
