Great cycling coffee shop. Good coffee, a simple but well executed all day brunch menu and a nice selection of cakes. Lots of bike racks out the front as well and a friendly atmosphere. Well worth a ride. Great mid ride Sunday brunch spot.
Really nice coffee stop. Locks provided which is a nice touch when leaving the bike outside on the racks. Gets very busy but the coffee and food is fantastic so worth the wait. They have a really good range of cycling gear and the staff are very friendly
Great breakfast of sourdough toast with advicado and poached eggs... good coffee and friendly staff, lots of bike stuff to buy, well worth the visit.
The atmosphere is great whether you are cyclist or not. The staff are friendly but I have got to say David you're a star. How do you remember so many customers names? A small thing but so important and so welcoming. The whole feel is like you experience in those pavement cafes on the continent. Great!
Just had a coffee and a muffin, really nice place to have a bite to eat and a lot nicer than the likes of starbucks.
Love this place. Cambridge needs one. First visit today but will be back. The staff were so helpful and the customers a great bunch of like minded positive individuals who were all interested in where you'd been and where you were going etc. Oh and the cake was quite nice too ;) was all so very welcoming! Today i felt like a proper cyclist ;)
Great place for cyclists and non-cyclists. Despite ignoring wheat and dairy, here I was able to eat and drink freely! I often go down to work on the wifi whilst I have coffee as the atmosphere is perfect, buzzing with a healthy ambience... makes me almost want to get on a bike! The staff are bubbly and keen to help plus they keep it looking upbeat and tidy even though it gets hugely busy. The coffee they serve is flavoursome and long may they choose good roasters! Thank you Bicicletta!
A really lovely coffee shop with great tea! The service was excellent and my avocado toast was delicious and generous.
We discovered this place on a visit to Saffron Walden. Great atmosphere and great coffee. Popping in again today!!
Great cafe to stop if you're out on a ride, amazing cake and coffee. Left a water bottle there, and wouldn't have been able to get to it until late. Called up - Callum left the bottle hidden around the corner along with a branded Bicicletta bottle - its awesome. Massive thanks guys
There is a great ambiance in this bike related cafe. They easily do the best coffee ever.
They also give a great service and offer delicious cakes and light snacks. albeit a limited choice. and on top of all that they let dogs in!
Great coffee food and location -c60 wall art isn't too shabby either
Excellent food and coffee. Chris always nails all breakfast dishes; poached eggs on sourdough, pancake , whipped avocado and feta on toast. Oat flat white is more than just excellent, creamy and milky. Worth cycling distance. Young lad at the till is friendly and works on his fast feet. Thanks Peter and all the team
Had great pumpkin spice latte and flat white here. Friendly customer service and a nice atmosphere inside. Loved the wall with all the doggos. Will be back🤗☕
It was good - we had the French toast and reuben. Reuben can be improved as it was a little dry. Coffee was decent and I enjoy the coffee art.
Really good. Staff are nice, the food is prepared in view for some of the seats and it’s nice to see it all prepped. Everything is done to a great standard, coffee, cakes, and the hot meals.
Also dog friendly and a nice cosy feeling and friendly atmosphere
Not bad coffee and 1/2 price before 08:30 for takeaways. I have oat milk and always find it a little too over aerated and a little on the hot side, but apart from that pretty decent for the area. Haven't tried their food offerings yet.
We've been here a few times. The food is really top drawer. Home made cakes and pastries, big baps and sandwiches but much more than your average and meals are clearly put together with care and genuine love.
Ingredients are fresh and often locally sourced (e.g. delectably thick smoked Burton's Butchers' bacon) and there are excellent veggie, GF, and vegan options.
Our kids can't eat egg so it's great they can have a choice of options - the vegan pancakes are absolutely out of this world, fluffy and flavourful, not the drab kind of disappointing eggless pancake you might make yourself at home. We also had the vegan banana and chocolate loaf today - it was terrific.
My favourite is the Ultimate Breakfast bap - like a Sausage McMuffin but 4,000,000 times superior.
The coffee is really good too, much better than the usual Costa/Starbucks stuff. Staff are always friendly and attentive.
What would be great is if they brought back live music evenings and events but in any case, Bicicletta is a real jewel in Walden's crown. PS- homemade sausage rolls are worth the visit alone.
Pretty good. It was a very busy Sunday and they seemed to cope well. They let us know that the wait times would be longer than normal but we didnt have to wait too long. Food and drink was very nice.
Pancakes could come with some nice butter to make it perfect, but otherwise very nice.
Amazing lunch today, absolutely delicious sandwich and the staff are very welcoming.
Great cycling cafe that is quite family friendly as well! The place is quite busy in general in the mornings which underscores how popular with cyclists and non cyclists alike! They have an extensive list of cafe beverages, pastries, and food along with energy bars. The pastries were top notch, very flaky, light, buttery and at the level of what I would find in Paris.
Pleasant venue and ideal for cyclists to stop. Non cyclist customers seemed a little put out at cyclists in sportswear walking about. Maybe yhe cycling theme isn't obvious enough. Would like to see more display bikes and bike related displays.
We had a lovely breakfast here and can recommend the food and service. However, I wanted to also commend Jodie and India for their very kind attention to my elderly father after he fell on the street nearby. He was full of praise for their help immediately after the incident and whilst waiting for an ambulance. Thanks so much, and for looking after his car key until we could collect it. We are all so grateful and will definitely come again to sample more of the delicious menu. Catherine and David.
The breakfast pretzel roll is genius, and is great for a Sunday morning treat. The coffee is pretty good too, and the service is great
Bicicletta is really casual and kind of minimal in its offerings, but serves an excellent coffee and has some very decent light meal options.
I had the smashed avocado on sourdough bread with poached eggs, which was rather excellent.
The staff is really attententive and pleasant and the service quick.
Just having come back from a trip through Italy, this place does have a true Italian vibe to it.
Nice place for a pit stop on a ride. Coffee is great and they clearly make an effort to source good quality, local ingredients, and the results are excellent. The breadth of choice for food is not huge, but then it's quite a small establishment and I think quality over quantity is the right approach.
Although I like crispy bacon, I feel the bacon I had was a little too crispy. Still very tasty though.
They have plenty of bike racks out front, and lend bike locks.
There's one toilet, which was clean and tidy. Working hot water, which is not always a given! Although they could do with a mixer tap, as it's pretty hot.
Nice place to stop during a cycle. Lots of gluten free cakes but no gluten free actual lunch/hot food options which was a bit disappointing as GF bread (at the very least) is pretty easy to cater to these days. Left feeling a bit hungry..
Really nice cafe, food was great although the wait was slightly long (but to be fair it was quite busy). Extra points for allowing dogs in and having a box with sanitary products in the toilet!
Lovely place for a sit down with a coffee and pastry, and meeting other people’s pups (probably best for fellow dog-lovers/walkers… if you don’t like dogs, you may not be so keen!) Would recommend sitting in rather than taking away, as service is quicker whenever I dine in rather than get a coffee to go. Even so, staff have always been lovely to me and it’s one of my favourite stops in Saffron Walden!
Fantastic coffee shop, plenty of bike parking and lots of cakes and fantastic coffee!
Well worth a visit.
