The Bull - Saffron Walden - Photo album

Very friendly pub. Great staff, customers and very good beer of course 😊 First monday in the month there is some fantastic music played by locals 😊
Fantastic atmosphere Saturday afternoon and evening at Bull Fest (9th September). My only trip here, but if I were local, I'd be here often.
Great little family run pub, with friendly staff. Weekly food van on Fridays/Saturday/Sunday and regular events including music night and barber visit. Also a varied selection of beers and ales. Well worth a visit!
Wonderful little village pub in the 'middle of nowhere'. Welcoming proprietors and the locals are friendly too! Well priced and with a delightful outdoor bar in the beer garden built from an old horsebox - regular Friday night gourmet catering vans - check out website for details. Cyclist and Motor
A proper pub!!!! The beer is spot on 👌🏻A very friendly and welcoming landlord and landlady with some hard working bar staff. I’ll definitely be heading back for some more beer asap..
Perfect place to go for a quiet drink on a weekday, atmosphere is friendly and charming, with relevant local history pieces covering the walls. Bar staff are interesting people to talk to, and very passionate about their live music events. Arguably one of the best pubs in the Walden area!
Lovely country pub - For walkers, a good place for a pit stop during a weekend walk. Good selection of ale and very good coffee. A walk from the Newport (Essex) train station to the The Bull and back isn't that hard but good boots are required. Currently they do not sever food
This is such an amazing little tavern, the best beer in the area and very reasonably priced compared to other pubs. Really friendly staff and an overall warm feeling with all the locals.
Lovely secluded pub with a fine selection of ales and ciders and a warm welcome from friendly staff.
Informal country pub popular with locals, walkers, and fans of Adnams Mosaic. Has pizza nights on Fridays (but check!) when a local pizza van sells pizzas made on the spot which you can eat in the pub with well-kept ales.
