November 2022: not been back to the Weaste site since 2017, but have frequented the Ancoats Taphouse many times.
November 2017: found these photos from way back. Eventually became a very small investor. Still love the beer. Still love the beer, brewery and flavours. Excellent decision to open up the taproom in Ancoats!

Great experience for the beer and ale sampler, plenty of choices straight from the vat, good atmosphere indoors and out but it is out of town so bring a driver. They will offer you a taster if you need to try before you buy.

A great bar, in the same building as the brewing equipment, with a keg wall serving the Seven Bro7hers products at their freshest. I did a brewery trip a few years ago but hadn't been back since - I won't be making it so long between visits next time!

Bit of confusion ordering for collection, popped in and they sorted it. Really friendly staff, great service. Fantastic tasting beer! 5 Stars all round.

Myself and four friends booked a tour here on Saturday 23rd April. The tour was given by Kate with James and Naomi behind the bar. Kate was very informative, engaging and entertaining with some good little anecdotes. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here, not only were we educated, we were also given beer, what’s not to like!? Definitely worth a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Went to the tour a couple of weeks ago, Kate was a brilliant host and described the seven brothers story and the brewing process with both warmth and humour. The beer tasting was great and all the beers sampled hit the spot! Great value for money.

Had a brilliant time at the 7 Brothers brewery. Our tour leader, Beth was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We learnt a lot about the brewery and brewing process and had lots of delicious beer. In terms of value for money, this experience was amazing and we enjoyed several exceptional beers. Would highly recommend to any other beer lovers!

Just had my second tour at Seven Brothers with Beth, who was just as great a tour guide as she was last time. Very knowledgeable and explained things really well for home brewers and novices alike.
Naomi was awful pleasant as well and was a good laugh.
Really enjoyed the tour and Beth is ace and deserves a big cuddle or a pat on the back or whatever is the most politically correct.

I'm a huge lover of craft ale, and a big advocate for independent breweries. With premium quality, comes a premium price - but it's worth it without a doubt. Beats all the super market rubbish, would definitely recommend their drinks, my favourite is Easy IPA!.

Cool place for a beer and can speak to brewers behind the counter. Ceiling height low in places - easy to forget after a few beers though

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Seven Brothers is a craft brewery in Salford Quays, just behind Media City in Manchester. The 2 hour tour gives a fascinating insight into how the seven brothers (yes really 7) started out and grew it into such an innovative craft brewery; how the beers are developed with passion and determination, and how the various types of ales, lagers etc are brewed through a delicate balance of science and art. Beth, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and really brought the whole experience to life with amusing stories from watermelons to cornflakes. The tour concludes with tasting several of the beers, with generous samples! And of course the Taproom is open if you’d like to drink more afterwards…. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to anyone who appreciates a beer, be it occasionally or often!

An excellent day out made so by the enthusiastic host Rory and the very helpful chap behind the bar. We went for the brewery tour which, like other reviews have mentioned is great value and gives you a real feel for the beer and the brewery. Only suggestion would be to allow guests to buy some of the beer to take home afterwards. Seemed strange that after sampling the goods and hearing about the Brewery's work that you cannot then take home your favourites to quaff later. Just an idea...

Wasn’t really a tour, more of a talk as we didn’t look round and just stayed in the bar area. However, it was brilliant. Kate was our host and I found the whole thing really interesting. I would 100% recommended it

We went early doors for a couple of beers. What a lovely light airy space and a super warm welcome from the staff. They had the full range of brews from the Seven Brothers Brewery, we ended up having a few different ones and all were really tasty. The decor is smart and contemporary with bench type seating and comfy leather sofas. We would highly recommend this new bar. It's going to be a while until all the apartments shops and hotels at Middlewood locks are complete but don't let that put you off it's still well worth a visit.

Having done many beer tours both in the UK and overseas I can honestly say this was my favourite one. It felt super personal and homely. Beth, our tour lead clearly not only loves her job but all of the values of the seven Bro7hers franchise. She involved us all constantly and made the tour super interactive, she also just knew so much about the beers. I would happily do this tour again. Thanks so much xox

I've been to loads of brewery taprooms. This is a good one, impressive shiny vessels, I happened to be there during a tour and listened in - the guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. Beer great of course, I liked the amber lager. A couple were off (eg the stout) so had to have it via can instead, but these things happen. Overall, great place to detour from the Eccles tram line...

We went on a brewery tour at the Seven Bro7hers Brewery which was extremely informative and great value for money. The tour was about two hours and included 4 x thirds of their beers, but these were very generous thirds!!
We then went to their new beer house which is based in Media City, about 15-20 mins walk away for more drinks and food. The bar tender at the beer house was just as informative at the people who did the tour. He then gave us a sample of another 3 beers which were different to the 4 we had on the tour...
Great food and great drinks!
It was a fantastic afternoon and really informative and educational (and a bit boozy - winwin!)
Thanks for a fantastic afternoon and keep it up!

Went to the brewery tour which was fantastic! Really engaging and gave 4 1/2 pints to try. Can’t recommend enough!
