Peel park quarter is a great place to live! They always have interesting themed nights and the staff are really friendly and always up for a chat 🤩

Comfortable student accommodation. Water sometimes runs cold. Luck of the draw who you share the corridor with. Sadly for us they are not very clean in the shared kitchen areas which is disgusting, unhealthy and just not pleasant. Tend to stay in the room.. Great uni. Accomadation is expensive.

Lovely reception staff, lovely dorm room. Maintenance work hard and are nice people. I put 4 stars because although maintenence work hard and come quick thwre always seems to BE maintenance to do in my flats dorms eg. Shower drainage or water temp.

I'm just writing a review because I want to say how much of a positive experience I had living here in my first year.
I'm doing my Postgraduate course now so I've lived in accomadation run by Unite Students and IQ. I can honestly say my time in Peel Park was superior.
I loved my room so much, and I really liked all the shelf storage. It suited my needs really well.
The kitchen was the best I've ever had, so much cupboard space. And it was perfect for socialising as a first year student .
It was also a really good location. My degree was in music so it was always a relief to know I could feel safe staying late for concerts or late night practise/composition sessions.
So much I loved about it and nothing else has compared.

Helpful staff, clean rooms and nice surroundings. Couldn't ask for a better stay during lockdown.

Great, modern accomodation, one or two small damages like chipped paint or scratched wallpaper but nothing serious. you report existing damages to the company and they will make sure they dont refuse your deposit when your stay is over. Has an expansive car park, great facilities and great views of the City Skyline. 100% recommended.

My daughter stayed here for her 1st year at Uni. Very nice rooms

My main issue is the fire alarms, for the past 6 moths, possibly more, they've been going off about once a week, with no communication that they could be drills, in fact they are so frequent, that many student outright ignore them unless they last for more than 4-5 minutes. Which is just unsafe.
Aside from that it's a wonderful place with great staff and spacious rooms, for student accommodation. [Edit: This was written in a post-fire alarm induced rage, it really is a great place when it's not pretending to be on fire]

The accommodation could have been cleaned a bit better when new students were arriving as I had a scratched up desk and stains on the carpet. Thankfully there is a online form to fill out when you arrive so that you can tell them about these things.
The accommodation itself is very nice and modern with plenty of space. The showers a abit small and I end up banging my elbows off the sides a lot. The walls are paper thin and if you live at the end of the hallway you can hear everything in the kitchen and everything in the bedroom next door to you. This can be a problem when people are cooking and using the sink at stupid times. People also slam their bedroom doors late at night, which wakes me up, but that’s a problem with having not very nice flat mates.
One thing I have also noticed is that no one asks to see ID, so security isn’t too good but thankfully nothing has happened. The laundry room could be improved as you have to go in the morning or while everyone’s at uni to get a spare washer and some people seem to leave their washing in the machines all day. The washing system seems a bit strange too as you can only top your card up £5, £10, £15... but the washes are like £2.60 so you can’t even get two washes out of £5 which can be annoying. Iv also had the problem that my clothes havnt washed very well at all and some pieces of clothes are still dry when I take them out of the washing machine.
The package system was good at the start of the year as I would receive a email saying I had a package... however this stopped after a few months so I had to go down every few days to check I had a package. One of the staff members are lovely at reception but the rest are horrible and grumpy. Packages I have bought have often been broken as I see some of the staff dropping packages and not really caring when it says “fragile” on the box.
Looking out my bedroom window was horrible as there was rubbish all in the grass. There was one day it was all cleaned up but then the following day people had thrown rubbish out their windows and it was back to being polluted again.
Overall it’s a great accommodation for first years but very expensive when comparing to house prices. And the parking is just under the accommodation and is around £28 a month.
