Sweet Meadow Cafe

Decided on this eatery on a whim for lunch and it was a solid choice. There was no wait to be seated and it wasn't as crowded as bar a few doors down. The wait staff kept their cool even as the kitchen was having difficulty getting plates out timely. They were kind and attentive to the guests and did what they could to keep everyone informed. I did see beer in a larger cooler, but I didn't notice any taps which is a tad disappointing. The food was great! I had a turkey pesto club and a side salad with tomato bacon vinaigrette dressing. It was perfect for a light lunch!

This place like a great concerts kept getting better and better over each course topping it off with incredible deserts. Started with the crab dup with Nann tips good, then dinner I had the thick boneless pork chops with Blueberry and merlot sauce woah delish the flavor and perfect temp.on the pork chop was over the top good, it was served with grilled string beans, fabulous! My wife had the ribeye steak sandwhich also incredibly seasoned and flavorful. The the crescendo was desert with my wife having the apple streudel with vanilla bean ice cream. Perfect blend of light dough, cinnamon and apples but the hero of the night was the bourbon pecan pie. Service was perfect with a very eclectic great vibe atmosphere with perfect background music. Lived up to their reviews I highly reccomend.

The interior is just as cozy as the name of the Cafe. Too bad my pictures didn't turn out. The pesto quiche had a melt in your mouth homemade crust and the sides were very generous portions. The smooth raspberry vinaigrette just cascaded over the green salad; and the fresh melon slices were surprisingly sweet. The only down side was the lack of communication during the lunch rush. The waiter did apologize, but I recommend a reservation if you come on Sunday! You'll be glad you did🙂

First time eating here.. crab cakes were dry..salmon was good. Mashed potatoes that come as a side were bland tasting. This is a tiny restaurant and service was very slow! Drinks were not good. Bartender got an attitude about a drink we didn't like. She refused to take it off bill. Poor, unprofessional customer service! Food was way over priced for what you get. Definitely DO NOT recommend going here!
