My family and I visited for Mother's Day and boy, did we receive a real treat! The chef personally served our meals! Each dish was impeccably decadent and affordable! Everyone was friendly and hospitable. Quaint atmosphere - dine in or eat outside then shop afterwards. Decent prices on the dinners as well as the groceries.

Me and my daughter ordered two dinner plates African Greens. One w/ jerk and the other curry with rice and peas for the side. There was no greens on either plate, added cabbage that we didn't ask for. For a $19 meal the plate itself was to small..everything stuff in that small plate. The meat was seasoned good and given the plate size, you couldn't fit anymore meat in, if you wanted to. I would definitely check my food before leaving as well paying. When trying to explain to the owner I had no Greens on either plate I ordered as well food I didn't ask for. He proceeded to state" if I was white you wouldn't be complaining and what's $40, I can buy you a meal if you what". His behavior he displayed yesterday won't stop me from supporting black own businesses, it just won't be his anymore.

I was already skeptical because every experience I’ve had in the state of North Carolina with so called authentic Jamaican food has been horrid at best, but here I go trying it once again as a NJ/NY woman who grew up with Jamaican friends & family I know great Jamaican food this food at best wasn’t even subpar. Lacking flavor, burnt Plantains , burnt Jerk chicken with no kick , curry chicken that tasted like plain boiled chicken no peppers of any kind used probably an off brand curry extremely disappointed a complete waste of money had to go out and buy something else if I could give 0 stars I would… Taste like a Karen made it
