Marie's Restaurant

Very, very, very busy place on Labor Day. We found a table quickly for we saw the sign saying' Seat yourself", but, saw other empty seats filling up. I ordered something simple, scrambled eggs, hash browns, toast, OJ and coffee. My son had a small stack of buttermilk pancakes. All were good. Service was good. Those servers were very busy. Back and forth with plates in thier hands. As soon as someone left, a boy came out and cleaned up the table. Place is clean with an old diner feel. Only Pete's Hot Sauce available, no tobasco. Parking lot is crampt. People inventing spaces. Ten dollar minimum for debit//credit card use.Only hang up, we were not told to pay bill at counter. As soon as we got up, people took our seats immediately. This place is popular! Update; the owner responded kindly to my review. Marie's is a family and generational restaurant. The servers will pick up your payment at the end of the meal, but, they were swamped that day. I recommend this restaurant.

Restaurant was very clean and organized. We had breakfast, I had loaded oatmeal bowl and my wife had a poached egg on toast. Both were excellent. Wait staff were very friendly and efficient. Everything was organized and clean. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. I only wished I lived closer so I çould go more often.

I love Maries! My parents and I always come. Food is delicious and service, even short staffed, is great! Would highly recommend. So clean inside as well! A great stop on the way to the beach. Hard to find cute little places like this anymore. I’m so glad they survived the pandemic and they sure deserve it!
