We looked up a "Dog Friendly" Pub for our day out in Sailsbury and found this vey lovely Pub. A lovely lady welcomed us in and made a fuss of our two "Dachunds". We were taken to a nice table and waited on for drinks and food. All the staff made a fuss over our dogs when they came near the table, which they really enjoyed. The food was really good. Cooked to perfection and well presented. Top place to eat. Thanks very much, will be back.

Always loved this pub. Had one of the best roasts ever and was extremely good value for money too. Staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend.

I have just had dinner here with my cousins who have lived nearby all their lives. They thought it was the best meal they have had locally for as long as they can remember. We were all impressed not just by the food, but also the atmosphere and the charming and efficient service. Thank you so much.

I came here several times during my stay in Salisbury. One of the nicest places for drinks and food. Food is excellent and fresh. No overcooked carrots here! Good vegetarian options and very friendly staff. Quick service as well.

What a great place. The menu is small but that allows them to ensure the quality is very high! Thank you for an excellent meal the other night and a great lunch on Monday.

This pub means a lot to me, as it’s where I spent my wedding day, so I’m so glad to see it open, and busy. My husband and I visited on a busy Sunday, we hadn’t booked, but were able to be seated for lunch, and it was by far the nicest roast dinner I have had outside my own kitchen in a very long time. Absolutely delicious. And the two gents who looked after us couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. We will be back!

What a wonderful place to spend the evening. Freshly decorated and looks fantastic, wonderful curration and decor, it's had a lot of attention to the look and feel of the place. Service was welcoming, affable and professional. Food was extremely good, so much it made three courses seem the only logical choice. The sea bass was as good as I've had anywhere. All three courses were on the button and just right. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of ingredients and standard of presentation and cooking. Look forward to many more visits.

An excellent cosy pub with great service and food. The beers are good too. They clearly know what they are doing with their pipes! A great mix of locals and tourists alike, with a variety of rooms for your choice. I particularly liked the brass bar and subtle lighting that enhance the 500 year old wooden beams. Also free biscuits for your doggos. Highly recommended.

I was served by Martin. It was my first time in Salisbury and this looked like a great place to go. Wow, I was not wrong. The service from Martin was amazing, super friendly and I felt very welcome. It was a busy night for bookings but it didn’t stop them being happy to serve me nor did it affect quality of service. My food was delivered quickly and very hot and fresh (cheesecake was of course cold 😂). I will definitely be coming here again next time I’m in Salisbury. What a truly wonderful way to end my trip. Thank you so much to all the staff there that are so dedicated to providing a wonderful and welcoming experience. The food was amazing too. Will definitely be recommending to others.

We where only 2 nights in Salisbury but we eat both times in Peasant Inn. Great homemade kitchen with fair prices. The Pie was marvelous and the vegetables all on the spot. Even the mayonnaise was self made! God service combined with a great kitchen and fair prices. Be ensured we come back next time where in Salisbury!

Really nice and accommodating. Kitchen is open a couple hours for lunch at 12 and for dinner at 6, then only Sunday afternoon. Nice quiet place to get drinks all the time...Never had the nice little art on a Guinness before!

We organised a gathering here after a funeral at the nearby Salisbury crematorium. Large car park out the front was very convenient. We liked the friendly owners and staff, ambience was good. They provided a buffet style lunch for 20 and the food was good quality. Charges all reasonable. Many thanks.

A convivial atmosphere, in an old building with a modern twist, the bar area has a low beamed ceiling, the rear or the pub is extended, and is for dining. 4 ales are available.

A really great find, just outside the centre of Salisbury but in very easy walking. We visited with friends for a catch up over a Sunday roast, and the meat was very tender with fresh veg. Staff were very helpful and obliging We will definitely be returning

I'm not sure whether they've recently had a change of owner or chef but I've changed my original review for the better. On my recent visit I was very impressed! A charming city pub/restaurant with great food. My Ham, Egg and Chips was outstanding, good portion size with lovely quality, thickly sliced ham. A cosy and comfortable pub with very great staff and dog friendly.

We visited Salisbury from Bournemouth after a walk in the local area. After researching online for a good pub, The Pheasant Inn had fantastic reviews and didn’t disappoint. We only stopped in for a few beers as were meeting friends for dinner after but the staff were super friendly, providing quick and efficient service and the manager even offered us a bowl of roast potatoes to snack on for free! The place was lovely and clean too, full of friendly people. We will definitely be visiting again before Christmas.

Great place to eat Gluten free! We have now been here twice due to the great gluten free options. I have not found any other restaurant that give you a choice of 6 different desserts! The chef came out to our table and spoke to us both times. The first time she told us that they have a dedicated area and fryer so can make most dishes gluten free if we ask. So on our second visit I ordered gluten free onion rings! First time I have found somewhere to eat onion rings since I have been diagnosed!
