The Old Ale And Coffee House - Salisbury - Photo album

After visiting the cathedral, we all stopped in to have the Fish & Chips, which is a known dish to England. A warm and cozy little spot with a fireplace and games and table style seating and a sofa. The batter on the fish was light and crispy, overall good fish. The bloodies were ok. Service was qui
We tried most of the options on the specials menu and I need to say, we were impressed! I tried their cauliflower cheese gratin and it was amazing. Very well seasoned and very warm. Amazing place for a dinner with the family and friend.
A nice pub for a spot of lunch in the city. Food is freshly cooked but some dishes are pricey for what they are. A raise from £9 to £12.50 in six months for a fish finger sandwich but this could be down to wholesale price increases in current times. Unsure whether the toilets are accessible as the m
Friendly and welcoming pub, with a good range of decent beers and lots of different gins to try. Menu looked delicious, we were just there for a quick drink but we'll definitely be back to try the food another time.
Very much needed break after walking round the museum. Nice atmosphere and staff were friendly. We had 2 hot drinks, 2 cans of soft drink and 2 cakes for £15 so it was quite pricey. Would go back but maybe drinks only in future!
Enjoyable afternoon beer, staff were all helpful and pleasant. Beer was well kept and they had a good selection. Food order for some snacks was taken at the table and arrived quickly and all tasted good. We will be going back again soon
Excellent service and outside seating. Table service was attentive. The huts are great to stay out of the rain if needed. Wonderful drink selection, especially the cocktails. An easy 5 star from me!
Popped in for a coffee whilst in Salisbury. Really nice venue with a great beer garden. Was lovely sat outside on the deckchairs chatting and having one of the best coffees I've had for a while. Staff Shane and Anna very friendly and knowledgeable about local area. I'll be back. It's a gem of a plac
A great pub, serving good food at fair pricing. A difficult time in the week so staff numbers lower, but service still fair. Enjoyed a nice lunch menu there, would again.
Really nice place. Quite quirky, nice beer selection and a chilled atmosphere. A very cool venue.
Great pub, enjoy coming here now and then. Typical salisbury pub. This one is spacious and atmospheric It's worth a pint anyway. haven't eaten here so couldn't tell u the what the foods like.
Dropped in on a busy Sat lunchtime and food and service was brilliant. Especially good with my 2 year old - great value kids menu and food arrived quickly. Will definitely be back!
I was only there for 1 cider and was the first in there but was served quickly and the staff were pleasent. Did like the cushions on the seats which gave a homely feel.
Great local pub if you like your ale, people friendly had a good atmosphere. Beer excellent.
Cozy place, nice atmosphere, staff is really friendly. Food is decent, fish and chips not the best around, but they work if you are hungry. Price per main dish: 10-14 £. Beers: 4-5 £
We came here for lunch during our trip to Salisbury. There is a good selection of beers and it's serves good pub food. The waitress that served us was very friendly. The sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream was delicious.
What a fabulous find! I was looking for something between a pub and a cafe. I needed a healthy menu as I was out on a long bike ride and didn't want to fill up on typical pub food, yet I wanted an ambiance beyond a sandwich shop! I ordered trout pate with crackers. It was a generous portion for £7
We stopped in for a drink and some food. Unfortunately the food had stopped being served. This place has a great look and it's larger than expected. They had lots of games for family's to play which was a real plus. Will come back to try the food.
