Five Guys

I came to this five guys location for a pick up order at 2:00pm on a Wednesday and had to wait another 15 minutes for my food to be ready. The restaurant seems to be understaffed which is why it took a while. Employees were friendly and the food was good. At least there are free peanuts to snack on while you wait.

Five Guys offers delicious, juicy, burgers with fresh toppings and amazing fries (with the skin on.) We went for lunch and be aware there is no drive thru. The menu consists mostly of burgers in various configurations and fries. Drinks, except for shakes, are self serve. The dining area was very clean and definitely kid friendly. It's kind of expensive, with most burgers being about $10 and fries and drinks are extra however, most of the burgers are double meat. If you want a single pattie, order one of the Little Burgers. This isn't really clear on the menu but believe me, the Little Burgers are plenty big. They are thick and juicy with amazing buns and the toppings include all sorts of things like mushrooms, bacon, etc. The fries are fantastic. They are cut from skin on potatoes and perfectly fried. I got a chocolate shake but it was just meh. I will likely get a soda next time. All in all, it's very good food served hot and tasty. I had a bit of sticker shock for a place where you order at a counter and go back to get your food when your number is called but heck, everything is expensive these days!
