Jerusalem Grill

The food is pretty good and enough to leave you pretty full. The staff is not attentive but they do have 2 servers for the whole place and they also act as hostess and bussers. I think that’s easier for them cost wise honestly. They do make sure you have what you need but don’t expect them to keep checking in. The mix kabob plate is probably what I would have ordered but I got chicken shawarma. I’d have it again. Edit: they have now started to charge at automatic 15% tip. It’s really odd given that their service hasn’t improved. It’s most likely because they weren’t being tipped at all. It’s not bad service but it’s like no service.

The food was absolutely delicious! I got the chicken shawarma with a side of grilled vegetables. Very flavorful without being drenched in butter or oil. My friends and I tried the Kenafa Sweet for the first time and it was a very interesting mix of flavors. Our waiter was nice enough but we had to chase him down a couple of times. We weren't checked on efficiently and there were only a couple of other tables. I might go back again.

Service was not exactly with a smile but the food more than made up for it. In fact, the food was incredible. Not often do I finish my plate at a restaurant and I did so easily here, even with a large portion. For the price that you’re paying you are getting very good value for healthy, filling, delicious cuisine. When we first walked in we were standing around for 10 minutes and weren’t seated despite the restaurant being nearly empty. The host and server were a little cold but perhaps I had done something inadvertently and didn’t realize. Nonetheless, definitely stop in for a try. It’s scrumptious.
