The island fried rice is a unique spin on traditional fried rice. It could use more of what makes it great. And more meat. The rice is super-filling and you get a lot of it but it seems pretty skimpy on the non-rice ingredients.

Hadn't been here in years! We were a large party on a Friday night and we're seated quickly. Service was great, food was delicious(I had the sesame chicken and egg drop soup) and it's local!

This is one of my favorite spots. I love the food and the staff is friendly. The only issue for me is the wait time when I call ahead to order. I still keep going back because of the food.

Food is always fresh from the stove and portion and quality never fails us. We love dining in here for dimsum, one of the good places for it.
We didn’t order their lunch menu but we saw that a lot of customers have it and for the price it was really good portion.
The service is always fast and staff is always approachable and smiling.
The place have indoor seats only but they offer boot, high chair or bar table.

I have been to the old place before they moved to this new location years ago. Although it's not the same Asian atmosphere it once was, the food is still delicious! I do MISS the Wednesday buffet, though. Our server Arturo took care of us this last time. He made us feel like he was just our waiter, always making sure we had what we needed.

Crispy Asian Beef was so delicious. Also had the Mongolian chicken and general chicken which were also good. Egg drop soup was the best appetizer!

There are only 2 Golden Woks in San Antonio. Had to try this one, and it was as great as the first one. Misses the happy hour 5-7 pm and the lunch specials. I'm looking forward to checking it out. I advise you to get appetizers and several dish plates and share with others. Love this!

The golden wok.. is good. I was looking for some good to eat and we decided on the golden wok. The menu is a standard. It is not a bad choice. They didn't have anything on the menu that would make you go, " I am definitely coming back!" So please don't take this as a bad review. The food is good! What I like, they are open later than most restaurants in the area.

I've been coming to this place since it was on the other side of the expressway.. I feel lately the food hasn't been quite the same as before but I'm sure they change cooks often. It's still a spot my kids like to go to. Their soup is delicious and so is the Shrimp Su Mai.
As long as that don't change I think I'll still be coming for their lunch specials..
