My order is always right on point. When I eat there, it's great. When I order for carry-out, it's great. Very friendly staff and great servers.

This is my first time at Tommy's this place is know for their Big Red and barbacoa. And honestly I think this place is better than Taco Palenque.

Had the fajita plate today. I really enjoyed this plate. The fajitas were really good and they give you two tortillas with the beans and rice. I will be coming back if I'm ever back in this area. It was pretty tasty.

Really good food! We had the fideo and the daily lunch special. The brisket plate. Both were delicious. Service was good. The dining room is ok, but not the most cozy welcoming place. But, I go for the food.

The tacos were delicious. Haven’t dined at the restaurant just take out but the place was clean and very organized. The location is pretty big so they should have plenty of seating for dine in. They have a large menu to choose from so I’m sure you will find something delicious to enjoy.

I’m born and raised in San Antonio but have been living in Nashville for the last two years. Every time I visit home now I make it a point to come to Tommy’s. I truly believe they’ve got the best breakfast tacos in all of San Antonio. The carne guisada with cheese, picadillo, and chorizo and potato are my go-to. The staff are always so kind and professional. Don’t forget to order a big red!

It's my 1st visit to this location. It's self seating and I noticed most of the tables were dirty, perhaps from their lunch hour rush. I got there close to 1:30 pm. The server promptly acknowledged, brought chips/salsa, menu, and took the drink order. I ordered their lengua guisada tacos. I've never had lengua the way they make it. The lengua was very tender. It Turned out to be DELICIOUS! The green salsa added the right heat to the tacos. I'll certainly be back again, to try something else. Come check them out for yourself.

Hadn't visited this location, only the original. Nice roomy atmosphere , and super friendly service. Went all in and ordered 3 of my favorite tacos: carne guisada, barbacoa, and papa con juevo. First off, the FLOUR TORTILLAS ARE AMAZING! Some of the best I've had since moving here. The guisada is good, but I think it could use a bit more of some seasonings. Added some of their salsa verde and it made all the difference. The barbacoa was surprisingly not oily in the least! An amazing feat, and it was still moist and flavorful. Papas con juevo is always simple, but delicious. Have enjoyed both my visits to these locations. One complaint: coffee was just lukewarm, but actually tasted good. Surely a one off problem I hope. I'll definitely be back!
