I have a crazy love for these dogs. Can’t explain it other than to say they are one of my comfort foods. Nothing about each ingredient is top caliber, yet slapped together they hit my pleasure center dead solid perfect. The combination is right. The chili is just good enough. The cheese is gooey and correct. The whole thing fits in my mouth so I don’t have to eat part and dribble stuff down my chin or hand. I hate fat 1/4lb. dogs! I often get a couple dozen chili, cheese, onion & mustard dogs to freeze for a quick throw-down-dog hatched in the microwave and finished in the countertop oven. Oh, and btw, the jalapeño poppers are beyond scrumptious. Wish this joint was on the north side.

I've driven by this place many times and finally stopped in. Kraut dog on a pretzel bun! Mmm mmm! Pretty inexpensive too. Fed myself for under $10 and it was a decent meal. They have a bunch of shakes too. Going to have to try one, or two. Just a heads up, they have outdoor tables under a canopy. No indoor seating area.
