I have dined here several times and they deserve this review. The food, breakfast or lunch it’s always delicious. Oh my goodness! The tortillas taste just like grandmas. Huevos rancheros is my recommendation along with a surprisingly delectable pancake breakfast. If ordering to-go the gentleman taking orders and ringing people up at the register is an absolute pro.

Good food. Nice staff. Good homemade tortillas. They do not hand out menus. If you want a menu, you have to scan a QR code to see their menu. The place is a little small but, they are going to open a bigger restaurant soon. It is located behind this location.

First time going there. I was impressed. I ordered tacos and they were filled and seasoned just right. Will definitely go back. Gave 4 stars because my barbacoa tacos were greasy, got my to- go bag soggy. But they were deeelish!!

My great grandfather and grandmother built this place my grandma and her sisters turned it into a restaurant and it did well till her mom passed away and sold the property including the house that was there behind the restraunt. My grandmother passed away at 71 this year. Im sure shes happy knowing at least the restaurant is still there building wise. Good food has always been served here and continues to be served. Glad to see the restraunt is doing good.

This place has changed ownership but the food is still so good. I was driving by recently returning to San Antonio from living on Maui for many many years and it struck me, this was my late mother's favorite place to eat over 20 years ago, the building was a purple color back in the day and they have added to the building but it is still a gem. Love the Super Nachos and cheese enchiladas and the homey feel. The staff is friendly but be prepared to wait a bit, it is quite busy and for good reason. Don't miss out on this place. Con provecho!

Salsa was AMAZING! Huevos rancheros was so yummy! Eggs were cooked perfectly! So much flavor! Really busy but never felt crowded or rushed. Wait staff was on top of everything. 1st time here and definitely coming back. Parking was wonky but everything else made up for that😊

Love it ! Been going here since back in the day. Since they took over after they build the new taqueria Mexico. The lady’s are so sweet. I love their lunch specials. Especially the pork chops ! They are the bomb 💣 b 😋 Really recommend this place.
