Food: Food was tasty and appetising. Excellent plating! Would recommend the hot chocolate and the banana chocolate pancake. We ordered the hash brown as a side dish. However, It was quite soft and not crispy. Would say it is also quite bland. Needed to add own seasoning to get the right taste. Service: Excellent Service! Food ordered all came out together. The waiters are friendly. They do not rush us in taking our orders. They would constantly ask whether we need a refill for our drinks and immediately clear the plates when they see we are done. Atmosphere: Since we visited during the winter period, the heaters they had inside the place made the atmosphere more cozy and comfortable to enjoy a meal.

Very pleasantly surprised, because the place, tables, menus etc. Were more more rundown and dated than we expected, but the real stars here are the servers and fresh, high-quality food. Everything was better than we expected. Even the simple breakfasts came with fresh fruit. Eggs were perfectly cooked, not like other restaurants that burn them. Biggest downside was the prices just out of the realm of reasonable.

It was nice and airy outside. Our waiter was very polite and visited our table frequently. The food was also amazing, a very great place to have breakfast. It is right in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf, so you can start adventuring right away.

The highlight of the menu is filled with Hollywood Cafe’s favorites. Vivian Leign is a healthy option. The fruit bowl was delicious. Amazing service and atmosphere.

Had a very enjoyable breakfast on our first morning in SF. Service was very friendly and efficient, and although the place looks a bit old and tired, the food is very tasty and the fruit fresh and delicious. I had the Vivian Leigh (scrambled eggs with bacon and a fruit bowl), asking for it without the croissant, and my husband had breakfast nachos (I forget exactly what it was called). Both of us enjoyed our food very much, and I especially appreciated the variety and quality of the fruit and the crispness of the bacon in my scrambled eggs. The place wasn't completely full when we got there at around 8:00 a.m. but filled up soon after, so its popularity speaks volumes! Definitely recommended, and we will try to visit again before we leave.
