Tarantino's Restaurant

I'm not sure why there are so many poor reviews. In town for a conference and ate here for lunch. The decor could use some updating, but everything else from there was great. We were the only ones in the place for a solid hour, which had us worried at first. Our drinks were well poured, the service attentive, and the food was very fresh and well prepared. The view from the 2nd floor was not bad either. Overall, I was happy with the visit.

I was reading reviews and trying to find a place to eat a nice dinner, on Saturday St. Patricks day. I read a few bad reviews and I read even more positive reviews, so I figured my fiance and I would give it a shot. One of the nice things is that they validate parking ( 3 hrs ) , if you are parked in the correct parking lot. I say the right parking lot cause I over heard a customer asking to have their parking pass validated but they were in the wrong lot. The service was top notch, might of been cause we were only one of 3 tables being served. Still the waiter was very friendly, very knowledgeable, an made sure we were happy. The food was fast, an very HOT, looked amazing, everything was wonderful. My fiance had the chicken saute served on a bed of pasta. I had the deep fried scallops with roasted potatoes. I DON'T have a complaint one about Tarantino's on the Wharf.

Great Views. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was tasty, hot and arrived quickly. I had the crab salad sandwich and it was delicious. The decor was dated and I wouldn't describe the place as ukta clean, but it fit in well with what you would expect from a San Francisco seafood restaurant. The place has a little bit of grit, just like San Francisco. I would recommend this place and would dine there again.
