Wow, the pizza here was absolutely and unexpectedly delicious. They have a wood fired oven and they know how to use it very well. Beautifully charred leopard-print crust on top with well-seasoned dough and toppings. My only criticism was that the middle of the dough, on the bottom, could be cooked a bit more. IT WAS EARLY in the evening, so maybe they just fired their oven up but flavors were outstanding. Will be back.

Great spot for lunch. I ordered the fried chicken and the special salad (persimmon and pomegranate) at the bar, and they delivered it to the table. I went on a Wednesday and there was tons of space; the two of us sat at a 10-person round booth 😎

Sadly I had no one to share the larger bottles of beers because there where some really interesting ones available. Very nice establishment in an interesting area of SF, great selection of drinks with basic snacks and some sandwiches available.
Unfortunately there was foie gras on the menu.

Fried chicken sandwich is so good. I still think about this sandwich and the next time I can get one. Fresh ingredients and good food. A little pricey, but it's a nicer place so it is to be expected. Nice outdoor seating as well.

Friendly staff, fun atmosphere, tasty bar snacks. The fries are fantastic. I'd also recommend the anchovy crostini and the summer squash carnivoro pizza.

The cinnamon sweet tea tastes like APPLE PIE 😋The cinnamon walnut bread was amazing. Great ambiance, good music, this place would be so cozy with my hunny 😍

This me at my hipsterest. I ate here back when it was in its original location, and only served a minimalist lunch, hence the name. I had the famous chicken sandwich and it was absolutely great. Notice the large number of fake "local guides" hating because this place isn't playing to the New York transplant fad of the week. I think, if it's too busy, come back another time. Too many good places in this city.

One of my favorite places to stop for a quick lunch when I'm working from home. The fried chicken sandwich is a classic and always worth the walk, though I recently had an awesome pork & peach sandwich (hope that sticks around on the menu!). The bar always has some great beers on tap, too. Nice patio!

Beautiful setting, the out door seating is ideal for people watching. The hand press coffee was to die for, with great drink combinations, all very reasonable. Pool tables inside for all group sizes. A real gem!

A great bar that even when it's crowded, it doesn't feel crowded. And if you're hungry, check out their chicken sandwich made with Mary's free range chicken. So good.
