Fantastic over the top spicy food. This is the place where you test your metal. Classic Chinese dishes served in a modern atmosphere. I myself love to get a good sweat on from time to time. Two peppers up 🌶🌶

The portions are enormous and the flavors are on point. I ordered a fish noodle soup and was pleasantly surprised at how aromatic and flavorful the dish was. Definitely recommend coming here for a warm winter soup craving!

Best Chongqing xiaomian I have ever had in bay area. Even better than the other restaurant named after this dish!

The tan tan (dan dan) noodles were very tasty. The spice level was perfect for me, though it was definitely on the hotter side... beware. They didn't forget the Sichuan peppercorn, either. The noodles really held on to the sauce, so every bite was flavorful even though I don't particularly remember the noodles. Bok choy was hiding underneath the noodles and meat. This added a nice little crunch and some color, plus it was a refreshing break from the spice. Thai ice tea might not be a typical accompaniment, but it was a nice contrast and not too sweet as is it often is for my taste. Hot pot also looked delicious, though I could smell the Sterno (c'mon guys, get with it & buy some induction cooktops for the tables!). Still, it was delicious.

Had the mild mapodofu on a shovel dish. Nice presentation w a little heat. The beef hotpot w spicy soup could have been hotter, but the presentation was excellent w fresh ingredients.

Some of the noodle dishes are so delicious. Portions are big, but we are not complaining. The Dan Dan noodle is very tasty but a bit too salty for me.

Love the mini pot period. Ordered the extra spicy and am satisfied. Would be nice to be able to control the fire as it gets dry in the end and stick a lot of food at the bottom.

The Chong Qing spicy noodles 重庆小面 is so good! If you want meat in your noodles, the spicy beef noodle is similar but has beef and daikon radish. The Guilin lu fen rice noodles 桂林米粉 is really good and unique as it’s not as common in America as other noodle dishes. If you feel like rice, the chili chicken and curry beef are both delicious. Portions are generous and they serve beer as well as soft drinks. Cold Asian beer pairs really well with the food. There are also plenty of non-spicy options

A decent place to get spicy Chinese noodles. We ordered the beef spicy noodle and the fish filet noodle. The beef bowl was a bit too spicy bit still tasted great. It's a Szechuan style spicy which is delicious. The fish filet bowl was pretty good. The spicy fish was placed in a separate bowl while the main bowl with the noodles didn't have any spices. Personally, it was better without being spicy. Food was decent with service being okay. Bowls are huge and price is good. Recommend!
