The most authentic Thai food I've seen in California. Prices are reasonable and the service is fine. I love the shrimp paste fried rice and beef noodle soup. It is in the heart of tenderloin so the location can be a problem.

Been here a few times and was always happy with the experience. A Vietnamese friend introduced me to the place and we always come here for our Thai food fix. We especially like their pork fried rice, crispy fish and pad see ew. Every new thing we try gets added to that list plus all the regular offerings like Pad Thai, etc.
It's a small mom and pop shop you wouldn't know was there unless you specifically looked for it. It's clean, albeit can use a fresh coat of paint. But that's not what you would go here for. The service is good and the staff are friendly. I always give them a thumbs up.

I always order takeout at Sai Jai Thai and am Loving EVERYTHING they've got on their menu!! Very Satisfying, Delicious, Spicy, and full of Wonderful interesting flavors in every meal🤩💗Very Friendly and understandable workers, really admire this place a bunch for how greatly it's been these past 2 yrs me showing up🥰An Absolute MUST visit here if you're hungry and craving some special Thai. Great Prices. PLUS THEIR THAI ICED TEA, oh my GOODNESS soo frckng Worth it's price and size. Better than other places that give you a small thai iced tea for very expensive price. Pleased to support this business with Gratitude. I APPRECIATE YOU GUYS!!✨💛😘

Coming from a Thai person: this is the most authentic Thai spot I’ve tried in SF so far! It’s a no-frills, hole in the wall vibe, so don’t expect too much in the way of ambience, but the food is amazing and the servers are really friendly. They have a large variety of Thai food as per usual, but highlights are the grilled pork neck and som tum (pappaya salad), which taste exactly like they do back home. Their crispy pork belly with chinese broccoli is also amazing, the pork belly is perfectly crunchy and so well seasoned. Beef noodle soup was hearty and umami and so comforting!! Really generous servings as well. This is my new go-to spot for Thai food!

We walked for 15 minutes just to try their food and it really satisfied our cravings! Tom yum soup is the bomb! Pad Thai tastes incredible! The serving was fast too. Authentic Thai food 😋 Fried rice is not too oily. Just the right asian fried rice. We will surely come back to this place!

Nice place to grab a quick bite or some carry out. Would recommend grabbing the BBQ pork

Sooo so yummy!! The food was delicious and refreshing and the service was excellent. The papaya salad was SPICY, well balanced by the lettuce. (Ask for mild if you're sensitive to spice.) Definitelyyyyy get the mango sticky rice.

Oh my good, Sai Jai Thai has been my all time favorite Thai Crusine since 2000, their Pork Shoulder is one of the best dish, and so does the Stir-fried Morning Glory (On-Choi) is the must order although it’s an off menu and seasonal dish, so you have to request when they take your order, last but not least for dessert, the Mango Sticky-rice Top w/Sweet Coconut Milk and a Thai Ice Tea in a to-go cup are the must haves! Enjoy!

Pretty authetic Kao Soy Noodle! Excellent curry flavor and soft egg noodles with crunchy wonton noodles on top... but it is definitely VERY RICH. They also unexpectedly put chopped green peppers (maybe jalapeños?) inside the curry sauce. It had a bit of a kick! Decently delicious. I would come back to eat this if I'm in the area.
My friends and I were looking for a place to eat before a concert at the Great American Music Hall. Found this place across the street and decided to give it a try. I came on a Friday night around 6 PM and this place was pretty empty. The area is pretty sketchy outside and there's only metered parking.
